Nothing lasts forever, a part of you kept reminding yourself that ever since you fell down Mt. Ebott. You felt as if you were looking into death, those eight glowing blood red eyes that seemed to keep you from running.
The metallic spider was upside down staring just as still as you were as it processed it's image of you. It blink and in seconds a loud pitch screech came from it's small mouth, gathering hundreds of other robotic arachnids. Before you could panic they had begun to drag you out of your hiding place at a rapid speed towards the stage. You only saw Sans, Papyrus, and Grillby for only a second until you were rushed away into the crowd which quickly parted as you were being dragged away.
You could feel the cold sharp legs of spiders shredding your clothes along the way, leaving scratches on your skin. You couldn't see through the mob of spiders as they began to tear your mask off and holding your arms down to the side. You heard the sound of leather ripping as your mask tore in two and fell to the ground, revealing your true self. Your human self.
The spiders crawled off of your face to show you to the rest of the captive audience that was now gasping and chattering with shock. You looked around with fear in your eyes as you saw at everyone you knew look at you as if you were a stranger. Before anyone could get their hands on you, bones came out of nowhere that trapped you like a cage. Sans and Papyrus burst through the crowd as the two of them ran to protect the only thing that they held dear to their hearts.
"Don't you DARE touch her you bastards!!" Sans roars like a demon.
His left eye had turned into raging orb of red fire as the right socket remained empty. He was tearing off the robotic spiders from you and crushing them with his fits as he heaved out breaths of anger. He pulled one of the spiders off your back only to hear in return a blood curdling scream coming from you. Sans quickly saw what he had done as his anger slowly turned into regret and sadness. The spider's sharp legs had dug into your skin, resulting in pieces of flesh and fabric that had came off of you. You could feel the cold air touch your skin as blood ran down from the wound. Sans tried to carefully pull the other spiders off but they only dug their sharp legs deeper and causing you to cry out in pain even more. Sans had never felt this hopeless in his life. He knelt down and cupped your face in his huge hands as red tears came pouring from his eye sockets.
"i'm sorry (y/n), i let you down― i don't wanna lose you." Sans said as he began to cry.
You were crying with him as your body became numb from the pain surrounding you.
"It's okay Sans everything is going to be okay." I lie as tears of mine and Sans drench my face.
King Asgore had commanded Undyne and the rest of the Royal Guards to stop the two skeletons from saving you but Papyrus wasn't going to let that happen. He knew he would lose his honor and position in the Royal Guard but it would be worth it if that meant losing you. He was starting to struggle as he was slowly becoming surrounded by his friends that soon turned as his enemies. Papyrus was quickly getting tired as his battle with Undyne refused to end.
"How could you do such a horrible thing Papyrus!?!" Undyne shouts angrily.
She threw multiple spears in his direction at once as he blocked them with a row of bones in front of him as his heavy breathing was turning into panting.
"This Human has been living in the Underground as if it was one of us―so why are you protecting it!?!" Undyne shrieks.
"BECAUSE SHE HAS SHONE ME THAT BEING PERFECT IS NOT EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO FEEL LOVED!"
