A cellphone phone that didn't belong to me rang, waking me up from the first decent sleep I had in a while. I groaned out, I was irritated that my deep sleep was interrupted.

"Go away!" I moaned, kicking towards the origin of the sound.

"Unf," Elena grunted as she hit the floor. She looked back up at me angrily.

"That's what you get for waking me up." I picked up the pillow I was sleeping on and pushed it on top of my head, trying to block out the daylight and the noise of Elena answering the phone.

"Hello?" Elena answered the phone. Bonnie shushed her, obviously being as annoyed as I was.

"Elena!" Caroline yelled, which was followed by the sound of footsteps leaving the room. The three of us girls fell back asleep, Elena continuing her conversation outside of the door.

=_-_-_=

Caroline, Bonnie, and I were sitting at a table in the Mystic Grill, trying to figure out our next plan for finding this Klaus guy.

"Okay. So tell me about this big, witchy plan you've been cooking up." Caroline leaned her elbows on the table, interlocking her fingers.

"We still don't know the extent of what Elijah's up to," Bonnie said, starting to explain something about her plan.

"No, we don't."

"Yeah we don't," I scooted in my chair, hearing it scrape across the wooden floor. "This is the second time I heard Elijah's name, and someone has yet to tell me who the hell he is."

"The enemy," Caroline stated.

"We don't know that yet, which is why we're here." Bonnie explained, "We still don't really know much about him."

"Okay continue," I waved my hand slightly, signaling for her to explain her plan.

"So, I'm gonna ask Luka to tell me what he knows."

Caroline intercepted, "And he's not gonna tell you anything."

"I didn't say he was gonna have a choice," Bonnie said cleverly.

Caroline's sky blue eyes, pulled from Bonnie's emerald ones, as her gaze fell past her. I followed her line of vision my eyes, seeing exactly who she was staring at.

"What?" Bonnie asked. She turned around, I could tell that she saw Matt too, because she just sat there, looking at him. Caroline gave Matt a small smile, and slightly waved at him, but Matt's face was stone cold. He continued working as if he didn't see her at all.

I turned to Caroline, "What was that about?"

"Uh, I don't know. I thought that we were...I don't know." Caroline slightly frowned. "Should I talk to him?"

"Yes, yes you should."

Caroline stood up and walked towards Matt, who was busing a table. I watched as Caroline was talking to him, Matt looked angry, with the same cold expression.

"Should we help?" I turned to ask Bonnie.

"No, this is a relationship thing, they need to work it out themselves."

After Caroline finished talking to Matt, I smelled a scent of someone in the restaurant that made my nose scrunch up. Tyler went to talk to Caroline, and I stood up at the table me and Bonnie were sitting at.

"Why is he here?"

"He's probably apologizing, relax Kennedy." Bonnie took my hand and sat me back in my seat.
