"So, what did I miss?" I pushed myself off of the wooden table that I was laid out on. My body felt cold and week as if I'd sat in a freezer all this time.

Bonnie sighed and blew out another candle at the other side of the room. After she had done that, she walked over to me, only standing a few inches away from where I stood.

"Way too much. I'll have to catch you up during the car ride." Bonnie picked up her car keys.

"Car ride? Why are we leaving? I'm perfectly fine in here." I raised an eyebrow at the witch. Bonnie's eyes scanned me up and down, with a sarcastic gleam to them.

"You look like you just came from the dead."

"Hm." I nodded in agreement, "Fair point". The floorboards creaked under my footsteps as Bonnie led me out of the old house.

As soon as the front door was opened by Bonnie, the sun's rays immediately attacked me, causing me to shield my eyes. Bonnie muttered a quick apology before closing the door again.

"I guess your eyes are still adjusting to being alive." Bonnie shrugged.

"Wow, "I can't believe I actually died." I ran a hand through my matted hair. "Kind of a bad bitch move."

Bonnie and I laughed before she gripped the handle of the door again.

"You ready?" Before I could answer, she opened the door and led me out by my hand. We crossed a large, wooded field in the front of the house until we reached her car.

I grunted when I landed on the passenger side of the car, after Bonnie.

"Thanks for the warning." I rested my head on the headrest of the car seat. I closed my tired eyes and let out a deep breath.

"Hey, I asked if you were ready." Bonnie chuckled, "So we're gonna head over to your house, get you cleaned up, and then we can get you reunited with everyone."

I shook my head, "I don't think I'm ready for anyone to know I'm alive yet."

"What? Why?"

"I just need some time to reflect. Please don't tell anyone I'm alive, especially Elena."

Bonnie shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Her expression had quickly shifted from an excited smile to one of disappointment. Bonnie sighed before putting her key into the ignition.

"Bonnie," I sighed, "Please."

Bonnie kept her gripped hands on the steering wheel. She had a mouthful of words to say, but she only responded with a simple nod. "This isn't going to end well," she said before starting the car.

"I figured," I crossed my legs over the dashboard of the car, "Now, what did I miss?"

Bonnie chuckled pulled off. It took the entire ride for her to tell me what happened over the summer. Apparently, Stefan sacrificed himself to Klaus to save Damon's life. Bonnie told me that Damon had an infection, she didn't really expand too much on the subject. Also, Damon and Elena got closer, no surprise there, and Jeremy got a job at the Grill. Now Damon and Elena have been trying to track Stefan down over the summer, but haven't gotten close.

Bonnie pulled up to an unfamiliar house that had a big green front yard.

"Where are we?" I asked as she pulled the car to a stop.

"This is my Dad's house. I decided to stay here just to get away from all the supernatural drama." She turned off the car and got out of the car. I opened the door and met her in the driveway.
