Chapter Nine: The Fantasies of a Novel Writer

Baekhyun cannot believe what he just read. It appears that the leading men on Sohyun's novel were him and Lay. A smile crossed on his face.

          "Tch... This psycho girl. You kept on avoiding me but you used me as your lead character. Let's see... So we're best friends here huh? Best friends with hidden feelings hmmn... Typical. Dramatic moments... tough girl on the outside but soft on the inside... Boyish? Nope, not you... You're too soft. You don't even know how to ride a bicycle." Baekhyun said as he read along.

          "Oh... So you're favorite color is blue huh? I thought it would be pink because you're too girly. Come to think of it, you seemed to own a lot of items in that color. Double birthday celebration with Sehun? Come to think of it, Suho~hyung did mention that Sehun was a few days older that her. So that means she was born in April. No wonder she's so hard headed." Baekhyun smirked.

          Reading Sohyun's novel somehow reminded him of what happened last night. Her soft lips against his. Her, sleeping soundly next to him. Her sweet scent flooding his nose. How her eyes flutter while she dreams. The way she cuddled like a child felt really nice.

          He couldn't explain why, but somehow the thought of sleeping and waking up beside him made him feel warm inside.

          "Alright. Now I know how to deal with you." Baekhyun said after a while excited with the idea he just had.

          "Sohyun~ah, Chanyeol said you had a fever. Gwaenchanh-a?" Suho said. As soon as he found out what happened with Sohyun, he had been bombarding her with phone calls.

          "Ne, Oppa. Don't worry. I'm fine. Chanyeol and Baekhyun took good care of me." Sohyun assured her older brother.

          "Are you sure? We'll be back tomorrow. Do you need anything?" Suho asked.

          "Ne Ne... Just don't forget the beef okay?" Sohyun said making Suho chuckle on the other line.

          "Hyung, Is that Sohyun?" Sohyun heard Sehun say.

          "Sohyunnie. How are you? I heard you had a fever. Are you okay now?" Sehun asked.

          "Sehunnie! I'm fine. Thanks for worrying." Sohyun said.

          "That's good to hear. How's vivi?" Sehun asked.

          "He's fine too. But I think he misses you." Sohyun said.

          "Awwwe.... Tell him I'll be back tomorrow." Sehun said.

          "Okay. I'll tell him." Sohyun chuckle.

          "We need to hang up now princess. We're going to start soon." Suho said.

          "Okay. See you tomorrow." Sohyun said before hanging up.

          "Okay! Sohyun you need to pull yourself together now. Have to go back to work." She said stretching up.

          "Right! Back to work. But first...... coffee!" She told herself. She then proceeded to the kitchen.

            "Why is it so hot in here? I should check the AC later." Sohyun thought while drinking coffee. Just then, Baekhyun went down shirtless.

          "Aish! Is the AC broken? Why is it so hot in here?" Baekhyun said. Seeing Baekhyun's naked torso made Sohyun spray the coffee she was drinking.

          "What's wrong with you?" Baekhyun asked.

          Seeing his perfectly sculpted body made her cheeks feel hot. Sohyun just waved her hand while trying to compose herself by drinking water.
