Chapter Thirty Seven: Double Date

          Once everything was settled, the four of them then proceeded outside where Chanyeol's car is waiting. Their respective managers and bodyguards were also waiting in the other car. Sohyun felt a little uneasy. She's not quite used to going out with this much entourage. Chanyeol, sensing her uneasiness, took her hand and patted her head. This gesture somehow made calmed Sohyun down.

          Sohyun shivered as soon as they got out of the house. You can tell by the cold wind blowing that winter is just around the corner.

          "Ah, neomu chuwo!" Sohyun said as she hugged herself.

          "Here, wear this." Chanyeol said taking his scarf off and wrapping it around Sohyun's neck. He also pulled down her bonnet to cover her ears and pulled up the hood of her jacket.

          "Thanks. But, how about you? You must be cold too." Sohyun said worriedly seeing that Chanyeol doesn't have anything around his neck.

          "I'll be fine. I'll just hug you like this if I get cold." Chanyeol said snuggling Sohyun.

          Chanyeol then smiled warmly at her. He then breathe on and rubbed his hands together and cupped Sohyun's face.

          "How's this?" Chanyeol asked.

          "Hmmmn..... feels nice and warm. Gomawo Chanyeollie." Sohyun said giving Chanyeol a warm smile.

           "Cheonmaneyo. Let's go." Chanyeol said leading Sohyun to his car.

          "Aweee.... Aren't they such a cute couple? Okay, from now on they are my OTP. I am now part of team "ChanSo". They look really good together. Don't you think?" Taeyeon asked Baekhyun. The latter looking green from envy.

          "It's cringey. Come on, before I barf." Baekhyun said fuming.

           Chanyeol has proven himself a gentleman and a sweet boyfriend. Like he would always do whenever they go out, he opened the car door for Sohyun and helped her with her seatbelt. He also held on to Sohyun's hand while driving. Every now and then he would either kiss her hand or play with her hair. Much to Sohyun's embarrassment, to Taeyeon's amusement and to Baekhyun's dismay.

          The four of them drove off through the night in Chanyeol's car with the managers and the bodyguards on the other car trailing behind.

          They stopped at a rooftop restaurant right across town. The girls were at awe as soon as they arrived. From where they are seated, they can see the beauty of the whole city and its street lights.

          "U-wah! Chanyeollie, how did you know this place?" Sohyun asked.

          "It's very peaceful and romantic. Perfect for a date don't you think so Baekhyunie?" Taeyeon asked.

          "Ne? Ah... majayo." Baekhyun replied.

           "Well, my mom knows the owner of this restaurant. I asked if I could bring my girlfriend here and Ajumma was kind enough to reserve this part of the restaurant so we can have our privacy." Chanyeol said.

          Baekhyun felt even more insecure. He doesn't know a lot of place as he prefers to just hang out indoors. He's sure Chanyeol has brought Sohyun to good places during their dates. Very much the opposite when he had his chance. He could see in her eyes how much she enjoys the place.

          The group enjoyed the night with good food and some drinks. Chanyeol requested the owner to serve all of Sohyun's favorite dishes. Chanyeol was having fun seeing Sohyun eat with gusto.
