Chapter Thirty Three: Awkward Excuses

          Sohyun stood rooted on her spot. She doesn't know how she should react to the scene that was in front of her. She felt a pang on her chest as jealousy creep inside her. She wanted so much to tear them apart or at least pull Taeyeon's hair and throw her out of the room. But of course, she doesn't have the rights to do so.

          Sohyun felt Chanyeol squeeze her hand and heard him clear his throat to let the other two people of their presence. She looked up at him and saw his dark expression.

          Chanyeol seemed to have succeeded in calling their attention as Baekhyun broke away from Taeyeon. Baekhyun's eyes grew wide upon seeing Sohyun.

          "Sohyun, I...." Baekhyun tried to explain. But he was cut off by Taeyeon who moved in front of him.

          "Chanyeol! Nice to see you here. Oh! And who might you be?" Taeyeon asked looking curiously at Sohyun.

          "A-Anneyeong! I'm Kim Sohyun...." Sohyun began.

          "She's my girlfriend." Chanyeol suddenly said raising his and Sohyun's hands that are still entwined. Surprising everyone inside the room especially Sohyun. She looked at Chanyeol, Chanyeol looked back at her and gave her hand another squeeze.

          "Oh. Really? You never told me you were dating someone? Anyway, congratulations! But, why did you bring her here?" Taeyeon asked.

          "She's Junmyeon~hyung's sister and a very close friend of ours. We stayed at her place during our vacation. That's how we met. She was also the leading lady of our upcoming music video." Baekhyun said.

          "Junmyeon? Suho? Suho has a sister?" Taeyeon asked. She moved closer to Sohyun and looked intently at her face as if trying to see if there were any resemblance with her brother.

          As if on cue, the door opened and in came EXO's leader, Suho.

          "I heard from Seunghwan~manager hyung that the doctor said you can go home this af....." Suho said but stopped when he saw Taeyeon holding Sohyun's face.

          "Taeyeon~noona? What are you doing here?" Suho asked.

          "Hi Suho! I came here as soon as I learned what happened to our Baekhyunnie. When I heard that he got hurt, I realized I still love him and I came here to get back together." Taeyeon said.

          Sohyun felt like someone splashed cold water on her face. She wanted to cry and run away. But she didn't want to make herself look pathetic, so she sucked it in.

           "So, I didn't know you have a sister? She's cute. She and Chanyeol look good together." Taeyeon said.

          Suho gave his sister a confused look before turning back to Taeyeon.

           "Of course, where do you think she got her looks from?" Suho joked.

          "Uhm. Oppa, I think I better go back to Ansan now." Sohyun said.

          "I'll drive you." Chanyeol volunteered.

          "I'll talk to you later princess." Suho said.

          "Okay. Get well soon Baekhyun~ssi. It's nice to meet you Taeyeon~unnie." Sohyun said giving them a courtesy bow.

          "Nice to meet you too, Sohyun~ah. Chanyeol, drive safely okay?" Taeyeon said smiling.
