Chapter Forty One: Dating

          The boys had been busier than ever as the day of the concert approaches. Sohyun barely even saw her boyfriend and her brother because of this making her feel a little bit lonely.

          But at the same time, Sohyun felt relieved that Baekhyun no longer stays with her. The boys had to stay in their dorm as it is more convenient. Sohyun took this opportunity to try and forget her feelings towards Baekhyun. But it only made her miss his presence even more.

          Two days before the concert, Sohyun went to stay at her parents' house, much to their delight.

          "It's been a while since we ate together like this." Their mother said.

          The whole family was having lunch together. Something that they haven't done for the longest time. Seeing all the members of her family sitting around the dining table made Sohyun a bit emotional. Ever since she left for another country, her family almost never had the chance to do something as simple as eating together. Everybody's been always busy with something that's way this rare moments are very special.

          "Ne. It's just too bad Junmyeon can't stay for long." Sohyun's oldest brother Dongkyu said.

          "I'm sorry everyone. I really wish I could spend more time with you, but the concert is just around the corner and we really have to focus with the rehearsals." Suho said apologetically.

          "We understand son. Your mother and I are just so happy to see all our children together like this. We are both very proud of all of you and what you all have accomplished." Their father said.

          "Your father's right. We are both very lucky to have the three of you as our kids. You all grew out well and had all become successful with your chosen careers. We couldn't be any prouder." Their mother added.

          "That's because you raised us well." Sohyun said.

          The following night, Sohyun had a surprise visitor. She sitting in front of her laptop proofreading the final chapter of her book when her mother came in her room.

          "Sohyun~ah, Chanyeol is at the living room waiting for you." Her mother said.

          Sohyun went out of her room and into the living room to find Chanyeol indeed sitting on their couch.

          "Jagiya, what are you doing here?" Sohyun asked.

          "Boyfriend duties." Chanyeol said making Sohyun chuckle.

          "Shouldn't you be resting? The concert's tomorrow." Sohyun said.

          The two of them were inside Chanyeol's car and are now driving around town.

          "I know. I just want to take my favorite girl out for dinner. I missed you so much. Don't you miss me?" Chanyeol asked looking at Sohyun with puppy dog eyes.
