Chapter Fifteen: A Day With EXO

          Sohyun woke up in the middle of the night feeling thirsty so, she have decided to go down the kitchen to get something to drink.

When she reached the living room, she was welcomed by a sight that would make fans swoon.

The members of one of the most popular boy bands in Korea, EXO, are all scattered in the living room sleeping peacefully.

Sohyun watched over them. She knew ever since they all started training, they barely had enough time to relax and enjoy. Moments like these are considered precious.

Sohyun's OCD kicked in so, out of habit, she counted them. One... Two.... Three... Four... Five.. Six... Seven... Wait, someone's missing. EXO has nine members. Lay is in China so there should still be eight of them.

Her brother was sleeping on the floor opposite Chen. Xiumin and Kai were on the sofa. Sehun and Chanyeol on their side leaning on the sofa. While Baekhyun was on the recliner with his foot resting on a foot stool. D.O was no where to be seen.

Sohyun went and look for him. Sure enough, she found D.O in the kitchen bar drinking by himself while on his tablet.

"Kyung Soo~oppa? What are you doing here all alone?" Sohyun asked.

"Oh?! Sohyun~ah. I can't sleep so I've decided to read while drinking. How about you? Why are you still up?" D.O asked.

"I woke up feeling thirsty so, I've decided to get something to drink. What are you reading?" Sohyun asked curiously.

"I was reading one of your EXO fanfics." D.O smiled.

"Waaaaah!!!! No!!!" Sohyun cried feeling embarrassed she quickly covered her mouth when she realized she was being too loud.

"Kyung Soo~oppa. How did you find that? How much have you read? Which one?"Sohyun asked nervously.

"Woah! Slow down. One question at a time please." D.O said chuckling. Sohyun can only pout out of frustration.

"It's not really hard to find. I'm almost done reading "I Guess It's You". I heard you and Baekhyun don't get along well, but he's your leading man for this story." D.O said.

"Ah, well. Me not liking him really has nothing to do with me using him as a leading man on my novels. I was planning to make one for each of you. It just so happened that I found his personality suitable for the story line that's all." Sohyun explained.

D.O shrugged and the two of them laughed.

"You know, I envy you." D.O said.

"Wae, Kyung Soo~oppa?" Sohyun asked.

"You're free to do the things you want. You can walk around without people bothering you. Those things." D.O said giving out a big sigh.

"Why? Don't you like what you are doing?" Sohyun asked.

"Oh, don't get me wrong. I love my job. I love singing and acting. It's just that, it gets tiring once in a while. With the type of job we have, it's like being under a microscope. Every little thing we do is being watched by others. Everytime we get out of the building, we have to watch out and be careful with the things that we do, the words we say." D.O said.

Sohyun looked at him. Although she haven't experienced what they have experienced, she can feel the burden he can feel. Her heart reached out to him.

"But you know what? I'm glad I've met your brother. Glad that he is our leader. Our members can be a handful most of the times and we tend to pick on him a lot. But he really does his best to live up to his screen name. Our guardian." D.O said smiling. Sohyun smiled as well.

"And I'm really proud of him because of that. Ever since I was a little child I've always looked up to him, wanted to be just like him. He worked really hard to be where he is now. I was really hurt when I heard people making fun of him because it took him six, seven years to debut. But he never gave up. He proved everyone he deserved to be a leader. And that made me really proud of him." Sohyun said.

"I'm proud of you too princess." Suho said walking towards them.

"Oppa! How long have you been there?" Sohyun asked.

"Long enough to hear what you just said." Suho smiled at him and kissed the top of her head.

"Thank you. For still thinking about me. Even if we weren't able to be together for the past ten years. I know, despite the distance, you still care about me." Suho said.

"Of course. You're my older brother. I don't have a choice do I?" Sohyun joked making D.O laugh.

"Well, at least she's funny. Unlike you hyung." D.O said still laughing.

"Aish!" Suho protested making all of them laugh.

The next day Sohyun and D.O took it to themselves to make breakfast for everybody. The rest of the boys were all surprised to see the dinning table filled with delicious food.

Being secluded for years, Sohyun couldn't believe she'd enjoy the company of a bunch noisy and playful souls. But here she is having breakfast and having a lively conversation with them.

After having breakfast and cleaning up, they have all decided to enjoy the beach.

They've decided to play beach volleyball. Sohyun, Baekhyun, Sehun and Kai versus Chanyeol, Xiumin, Suho and Chen. D.O was the one tasked to keep scores.

All of them were having fun playing with each other. They were like little kids laughing around not caring about anything.

Soon it was Chanyeol's turn to serve the ball. He jumped and hit the ball.

"Mine!" Both Sohyun and Baekhyun exclaimed.

With their eyes on the ball, they didn't realize they were about to run into each other. Sure enough, the two of them collided with each other.

Sohyun fell on top of Baekhyun with her head hitting him hard on the lips causing it to bleed.

"Are you alright Sohyun?" Baekhyun asked.

"I'm fine. Oh my God your lips. They're bleeding!" Sohyun exclaimed.

"It's okay. I'm fine." Baekhyun said.

The rest of the boys all ran up to them to check.

"Are you two okay?" Suho asked.

"I'm fine Oppa. But we should treat Baekhyun~ssi's lips." Sohyun said as Chanyeol helped her up. Baekhyun looked at her and arched his brows.

"What?" Sohyun aked.

"You said my name." Baekhyun smiled taking Sohyun aback and in turn making her blush.

"Come on, we should go back to the house to treat that. Otherwise your fans might think you fought with someone if they they ever see you like that." Sohyun said pulling Baekhyun by the arm.

And with that their trip to the beach ended.
