Chapter Forty Five: Sweet Lies

          After having breakfast, the other boys began to leave leaving Sohyun and Chanyeol behind.

          The two of them sat comfortably on the sofa after cleaning the house. Chanyeol laid down to rest his head on Sohyun's thigh.

          "So, birthday boy, what do you plan to do today?" Sohyun asked while stroking Chanyeol's hair.

          Chanyeol looked at Sohyun straight in the eyes and grinned.

          "Anywhere's fine as long as I'm with you babe." Chanyeol teased.

          "Tch!" Sohyun snickered. 

          Chanyeol chuckled and pinched Sohyun's nose.

          "Cutie. Well, I do have some things I'd like to do today." Chanyeol said.

          "What is it? Tell me. I'm your genie for today." Sohyun said.

          "Wah! Jinja?" Chanyeol exclaimed sitting up, eyes wide.

          "Ne. Soweoneul malhae bwa." Sohyun said singing the last part to the tune of SNSD's "Genie" to tease Chanyeol. 

          Chanyeol just rolled his eyes at her.

          "So, what is your first wish master?" Sohyun said bowing playfully.

          "Hmmn... For my first wish, I want.... A kiss." Chanyeol said as he puckered his lips up.

          Sohyun arched her brows in disbelief.

          "Jinja?! A kiss? That's your first wish?" Sohyun asked. Chanyeol nodded and pouted like a kid making Sohyun laugh.

          "Ah wae?! Why are you laughing? I'm serious." Chanyeol said crossing his arms on his chest.

         "Okay. Okay. Your wish is my command." Sohyun chuckled as she cupped Chanyeol's face and gave him a light kiss on the lips.

          "That's it?" Chanyeol said feeling a bit disappointed.

          "Yah! Don't push it mister!" Sohyun warned, making both of them burst out laughing.

          "Now, for my next wish...... Go out with me." Chanyeol said.

          "Where are we going?" Sohyun asked.

          "You'll see." Chanyeol said grinning.

          After driving for almost two hours to Seoul, Chanyeol's car parked outside a familiar establishment.

          "Viva Polo?" Sohyun said realizing they're in front of Chanyeol's mom's restaurant.

          "Yep. This where we're going to have lunch." Chanyeol said as he helped Sohyun remove her seatbelt.

          Chanyeol got off his car and went on Sohyun's side and opened the door for her. Sohyun's foot slipped as she was getting off the car making her fall forward. It was a good thing Chanyeol's reflex kicked in just in time to catch her.

          "Oh! Careful. Neo gwaenchanha?" Chanyeol asked helping Sohyun on her feet.

          Sohyun could have sworn her face turned bright red embarrassment, both from slipping and from being this close to Chanyeol out in public. His hand was wrapped around her waist while the other was holding her wrist. Their face barely inches from each other.
