Chapter Seventeen: Reasons Why (part 2)

When Sohyun woke up the next day, she felt really good inside. It sure was nice to have finally voiced out the things she had been keeping inside for years.

One of the reasons why she have decided to become a novelist was because she needed something to vent out her thoughts on. She found it therapeutic to have in writing the things she couldn't voice out.

The burden of living in fear of being hurt by other people for having a celebrity idol for a brother and for wanting to be just like him, and her grudge over what Baekhyun have done to her about a year ago has been finally released.

With all those out of her chest, she felt relieved and inspired.

After making up her bed and washing herself, she have decided to continue working on her novel. Ideas over ideas began flowing inside her head and she could just not miss this opportunity to use it as an inspiration.

Baekhyun also woke up with a smile on his face that day. Finally the wall between him and Sohyun has already been broken. Now he's confident that can finally be close to each other. Excited with the idea, he immediately washed himself up and went down to meet the others for breakfast.

"Good morning Chingus!!!!" Baekhyun greeted merrily.

He scanned the kitchen for Sohyun, but she wasn't there. Chanyeol was cooking, Suho was checking the news using his phone while Sehun plays with Vivi.

"Oh, where's Sohyun~ah?" He asked.

"Upstairs in her room. She hasn't come out yet." Suho said.

"Oh, geurae?" Baekhyun pouted.

"Hyung, where are you going to take that?" Sehun asked Chanyeol who was carrying a tray full of food.

"I'm going to take it upstairs to Sohyun. She's probably working on her novel that's why she haven't gone out yet." Chanyeol said.

Sehun followed Chanyeol with his eyes until he's out of sight. He then proceeded to sit beside Suho.

"Hyung." Sehun said tapping Suho's shoulder.

"Ne?" Suho replied without looking at him.

"Remember when you said before in an interview that if ever you had a sister, which member who you would like to date her? And you said you would want her to date me?" Sehun asked.

Suho paused and looked at Sehun. Baekhyun who was busy eating, suddenly became interested.

"What about it?" Suho asked.

"Well.... What if I tell you I like her? Would you let her date me?" Sehun asked.

Suho looked at him as if what he said was something ridiculous. Baekhyun on the other hand almost choke on his food.

"Are you serious?" Both Suho and Baekhyun asked.

"Ne. I really like her. We have good chemistry, we both like dogs, we have the same birth sign. I think we're perfect for each other. What do you say hyung?" Sehun asked Suho.

"Well, if she likes you too.... I mean she's already an adult. She can date whoever she likes. If she likes you too then, so be it. But remember.... I'm still watching." Suho said before going back to his phone.

"Hyung did you hear that? I can ask Sohyun out." Sehun boasted at Baekhyun.

"Good luck." Baekhyun simply said before taking a mouthful of food.
