Chapter 18 - Triton High

My phone vibrated once and then twice. Causing me to slowly wake up. I heard the vibration again and my eyes began to open slowly. I outstreched my hand reaching for my phone then I took it up and pressed the home button. There was a text from Kendall saying we're going to meet at the park before school to test out the rings. I then placed my phone down. It was barely morning and the sun just began rising. I don't think i've ever been up this early. I sat up on my bed and noticed Chase was gone. I then removed the sheet covering me and immediately after my grandma entered the room.

"You're up early and I see your hand healed." She said and took a seat on the bed next to me.

I streched then looked at my hand and replied,

"Yeah it did heal. My friends and I are going to meet before school to test out the new rings we got."

"Ok sonny," She replied, "Well I have a surprise for you." My grandma said then handed me a letter.

I took it and looked at it seeing the words 'Triton High' written across it. I've been trying to get into this school ever since I started highschool. Triton High - school for all mythical and supernatural creatures and this was the second letter I recieved back from them.

"I hope I didn't get denied again." I said.

"No matter what happens we will continue to try and get you into that school." My grandma ended and placed a kiss on my cheek then got up from the bed afterwards beginning to walk out.

"Wait Grandma," I said interrupting her from leaving, "Do you think I will inherrit the magic genes from you and mom?" I asked.

"I'm not quite sure Marc. Maybe your sister will. It's more on the female side of the family." My Grandma replied.

I sighed then said,

"Ok thanks."

"What's the problem?" My Grandma walked back over to the bed and asked.

"It's just that......i'm afraid I might end up being the weak link on the team. Kendall just became a vampire recently and she's already miles ahead of everyone." I explained.

"That's why you asked about the magic? Well Marc don't worry about it once you unlock your full abilities as a vampire and heck you may even get some magical abilities and who knows maybe you will even be able to take down a pack of wolves on your own." My Grandma ended.

"Yeah I guess you're right grandma. Thanks again." I thanked.

"Anyday." My grandma ended then walked out.

I sighed then looked down the letter.

"Time for more disappointment." I said then took up the letter.

I took it up then began reading it. A long hand written letter from the principal - King Drax.

"I would like to say welcome to Triton High I expect to see you as soon as you read this letter and remember it's a boarding school." I finished reading then placed the note down.

I began to stare at my door without a single movement. If my Grandma saw me she would have thought I was paralyzed. After about 10 seconds, I began to scream in joy. However, my Grandma thought otherwise. She burst through the ground entering my room.

"Marc! Where is the demon!" She yelled as white aura circled her hands.

"Grandma no, no I just got into Triton High." I said causing her to calm down a little.

"Aww Marc that's lovely." My grandma said.

She then created a magic hand and slapped me across the face.
