New Friends, Family, and Pack (Part 2)

On their way to the Collage, they passed by the park which still housed the huge crater Fire made yesterday. Danny picked up a familiar presence and grinned giddily.

"Yo Fire! Phantom! We're taking a quick detour!"

"What for?" Phantom asked.

Danny's smile widened, "Maxie's over there," he said, pointing down to the crater. Phantom rolled his eyes,

"You think he's wondering if aliens have landed?"

Danny snorted, "Wouldn't be too far fetched, Fire isn't originally from around here." He flew down to the park, Fire and Phantom following behind.

Once they made it to the ground, the wolf reformed with a teasing smile, "So I'm an alien now, huh?" Her tail wagged slightly and her ears were perked up.

"Would you deny it?" Danny asked her, a teasing glint in his eye.

She shook her head, "Nah, it actually sounds pretty cool." Her ears twitched, and she frowned, brow furrowing. "I think you're gonna have to warn me when "Maxie" is here, Goldy." Fire's ears twitched again, but still nothing, "I'd rather not accidentally hurt him."

"Oh, he's right over there," Danny replied offhandedly while pointing over his shoulder at a patch of shadow.

The wolf girl smiled, "Thank you very much!" She snickered lightly at the loud groan of annoyance, "Hasn't anyone ever told you that it's rude to sneak up on people?"

"Ha! Come on Fire, that's our lively hood! Or maybe it's more 'un-lively' hood." The girl snorted at that, shaking her head in exasperation.

"One of these days Fenton!" A crackly voice exclaimed before the tall carrot top literally melted out of the shadows, crossing his arms and glaring.

"Sure Maxie," Danny skipped, yes, skipped up to 'Maxie', hugging him much to the discomfort of the taller male, "Heya Maxie! What'cha doin' here?"

The taller rolled his eyes, gently dislodging the raven haired teen, "I came to check out this crater," he waved his hand at it. "It's astounding that nobody but me came to check it out. But considering how dumb the citizens of Amity are... not counting you and the others Nate."

Fire raised a brow, "First, no one asked you Goldy. Second, Phantom found me first and I didn't see you come running either so..." She took a page from Danny's book and put her hands behind her back with a big grin on her face.

"How do you know I wasn't already here?" 'Maxie' asked, eyes glowing an ominous blue.

"Because I would have sensed you," Danny answered, killing the vibe the other was going for. 

The red headed boy growled, "Damn it Nate, you ruined it!"

Phantom sighed and gestured to the arguing teens, "Fire, if you don't already know him, this is Wes Weston. His name used to be Max when he died, though his other names would be Maxie and Freddy."

"Being real lenient with information Phantom," Wes jabbed when he overheard the prince talking, glaring at him, "I thought we weren't supposed to give that kind of stuff out?"

Fire growled softly, her eyes flashing red, "How do you know I wouldn't have found out anyway?" She crossed her arms, "And if I'm being honest, you didn't exist in my dimension." 

"Dimension?" Wes parroted, confusion and suspicion clouding his green eyes.

"Exactly what she said Wes," Phantom confirmed.

Danny frowned, "Though, no offence Fire, you come from a shit dimension if it doesn't have Phantom and my brother in it."

She chuckled, not taking her eyes off of Wes, "No offence taken, Goldy. I already told you I like it here better." The wolf gave the carrot top a strained smile, "And I'm not leaving."
