The next morning, all of them were waiting anxiously for lunch to figure out what Danny's plan for the day was. Fire tapped her nails against her desk impatiently and when the bell rang she was the first one out. She was also the first one to their usual table, not eating her lunch until one of their group showed up to keep watch. If Sam having to tap her shoulder was any indication, eating with no one at the table would be a bad idea. What could she say though? Food took priority over being caught.
Phantom came up a few minutes later and sat next to her. He seemed to be a bit surprised that she was there first, but he didn't comment on it as he pulled his thermos of ectoplasm off of his belt and took a big drink out of it. He leaned back against the table, grinning as he watched the students avoid them like the plague and give them terrified glances. He sighed happily, "Been a while since nobody tried to bother me, almost forgot how nice it is."
The wolf girl nodded, finally opening her lunch bag, "Oh yeah, not one guy has told me that I'm hot today." She snorted, "They have no idea how accurate that is though." The wolf girl bit into the rabbit, but stopped and pulled away after a second of thought, "Can you watch for teachers? I'd rather not get caught eating the raw rabbit I hunted and skinned this morning."
Phantom rested his arm on the table and flicked his hand, looking completely relaxed. Though if you knew what you where looking for, you would have noticed his green eyes slowly sweeping the area around him, sharp as a tack, "So, have you seen the others today? They've been avoiding me; even Danny snuck out before I could catch him." Phantom furrowed his brow as if confused.
She shrugged and tore out the side of the rabbit, licking the blood that dripped from her lips before swallowing. "I have no idea. All I know is that there's a plan and apparently it's big."
"Same with me," he sighed, this time tiredly, "I wonder about them sometimes."
Fire took another bite of the rodent, humming thoughtfully as she swallowed, "Maybe it includes us fighting again?"
The albino shook his head, "That doesn't sound like Danny. May-"
"ANTONI AND CLEOPATRA! What happened to the lights!"
The prince's head whipped around, "I think it's starting..."
The wolf girl groaned, "Really? They gotta do it now?" She sighed, ripping a back leg off the rabbit and stuffing her mouth before cooking the rest of the rabbit in case a teacher decided to check on it.
While crunching down on the meat and bone, the wolf smirked slightly, eyes flashing red.
Phantom looked her, smirking with eyes glowing faintly, "Wanna go check it out?"
Fire swallowed, licking her teeth, "Let's go cause some trouble, princess." Her eyes turned red as black flames spread across her body so she could hide better in the dark.
Phantom chuckled, "Right behind you Fire Queen," he vanished.
Her nose twitched as her ears rotated, listening for the others as she started running through the halls. Fire brushed into as many people as she could on the way, even leaving a few scratches on the legs of the jocks she passed. They didn't bleed, but the little bit of venom on her claws would make it feel like it was.
She snickered lightly, red eyes glancing around before she deemed enough chaos done and ducked into an empty classroom to wait for Danny. Fire was sure he'd heard the noise. Maybe he'd let her and Phantom in on the plan...
