In a flash, Fire was in front of him, fists clenched, "I can make it even better for ya shadow fucker." Instead of punching him like she wanted to, she slapped him, leaving a harsh red mark before storming out; old memories whirled around so fast she barely registered slamming the door.

Mikey sighed, deadpanning as Wes held his cheek in pain, "You kinda asked for that one Max."

Wes rubbed his cheek, scowling at Mikey with his eyes glowing a dim blue in aggravation, "No, I figured she did it to be nice!" He groaned, dropping his hand and looking down tiredly, "Really need to learn how to put up with family again, been too long for me considering."

"No shit Sherlock," Sam said sardonically.

"Fuck you Watson," Wes snipped back without thinking. He looked over at Phantom and raised a brow, "So, 'Princess', what're ya gonna do about your Prince Charming?

Mikey crossed his arms, "We can't exactly follow him. He'll just leave his body behind and teleport somewhere else."

Phantom sighed, rubbing his eyes, "I know where he is, but if I go now he'll only yell at me. Just..." he shook his head, "Just give him some time.

Meanwhile, Danny got to his house and went up to his room, slamming the door behind him with a groan. He threw himself into his desk chair, scrubbing his hands down his face before looking at the papers on his desk, as if they were a beacon to him. Both songs that he wrote were still incomplete, but he honestly didn't feel like writing right now. He heard a soft knock on the door and turned around,

"Go away Fire!" He yelled, "I already told you I-"

The door opened to reveal a different redheaded girl, turquoise eyes shining in worry, "Danny?"

Danny sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose, "What is it Jazz?"

Jazz came into the room and quietly closed the door, "I thought you were spending Christmas with your friends; did you and Fire get into a fight?"

The raven sighed, "Depends on your definition of fight."

Jazz looked him over, checking him over for injuries but seeing none. Finally she sighed and sat on the bed, "You worry me sometimes Danny, you know that?"

He chuckled, "I seem to be doing that a lot lately." He sighed, "Jazz, please, I want to be alone right now."

Jazz bit her lip, looking unsure for a moment, "Okay...if there's anything you need to talk about, then you know I'm always there right? You don't have to hold it in all the time."

She got up and gave him a kiss on the top of his head with a small smile, patting his shoulder before leaving. Danny hummed, looking back at his music lyric sheets with a frown,

"I know Jazz...but this isn't something you can help me with this time..."

Hours passed to find Danny asleep on his bed, having decided to take a nap since he hadn't been getting that much restful sleep lately. His eyes flashed open however at yet another nightmare and he groaned, sitting up in bed.

Phantom was downstairs by himself, foregoing sleep for the night in favor of giving Danny some space. He'd been sleeping too much anyway, at least for a ghost that is.

Then, the front door opened and he saw Fire walk in. The wolf girl shut the door, licking some blood from her teeth before taking notice of him, "Hey princess." She greeted stiffly before sitting down on the couch, "I washed my fur off in the lake and, just in case you're worried, it was rabbit blood." The wolf said absentmindedly, still lost in her own head.
