It was nearing the end of the day and all 4 teens were anticipating Fire's howl to resound soon. They didn't anticipate just how loud it was going to be though.
It was about 20 minutes before the final bell when they heard it. A low growl came through the speakers first, then, a few seconds later, a loud howl ripped through the quiet school. Danny grinned and covered his mouth to smother his laughter as everyone else was close to panicking.
"Holy shit dude," Tucker whispered with a small grin, going unheard by everyone except their own group over the howl. Suddenly they heard a high, mechanical screech follow behind, as if a child's crying was recorded and played back by a faulty speaker. Phantom smirked,
"I think I know which side Mikey's on in this," he said under the screams of panicking students.
"Gulliver's travels people! Will you all just calm down!" Lancer exclaimed. The kids didn't listen though, and before the final bell rang, everyone was already out of the classroom, some not even bothering to pick up their things as they made their escape.
The group had disappeared as they followed the crowd, standing outside with their stuff as they waited on the two 'cousins' to join them.
"That was awesome!" Danny said bouncing up and down on his toes in excitement. Sam rolled her eyes,
"Jeez Danny, why don't you go up on the roof and shout that? I'm sure they didn't quite here you all the way in Timbuktu."
Danny whipped around, causing Phantom to grab his arm, "No Danny, she wasn't being serious," he said dryly.
Without warning, Fire slammed into Danny and Phantom, laughing as she spun them around. Mikey wasn't too far behind, grinning like a loon and laughing at her antics.
"You look like you guys had fun," Tucker commented with a wry grin.
Mikey smirked, walking over and putting an arm around the techies shoulders, "Totally! Did you see that stampede? I didn't think Baxter and miss bitch could run so fast! They were leading everyone out the doors, probably broke a record or something." Mikey chuckled, tightening his arm around Tucker for a spit second before pulling away.
The wolf was practically bouncing in excitement, "I skipped a class period because Mikey was so close to the school. We spent the last hour or so talking." She smiled sheepishly, "I actually almost forgot the main reason why I left class."
Fire went over to Mikey, ruffling his hair lightly as her smile grew, "Thanks for the help Foxy. How you make that noise I will never know."
Mikey grinned sheepishly, "All of us can make a similar sound like that...well except Danny, his screech is kinda weird..." he looked at Danny, the blue eyed boy flushing and shuffling his feet.
"Maybe because I went through that stuff longer than you guys? Don't ask me."
"So what are we doing tomorrow?" Tucker said, changing the subject.
"Well~" Danny thought for a moment, "I think we should take turns, since Phantom came up with the plan today..." He grinned at Fire, "Hey sis, what do you think we should do for tomorrow?"
The wolf girl grinned, snickering, "How about we show off our true colors a bit?" Her tail flickered to life behind her, but it wasn't solid. The appendage was made from flames that could easily be extinguished. "Make it a little more obvious, and Danny?"
"Yeah?" Danny asked, raising a brow and smirking in interest.
She grinned maliciously, "How about a black out at the end of the day?"
