It was a few days after the catcher incident, everything finally seemed to calm down. No more mishaps happened and Phantom once again had to go to the Ghost Zone.
"Why do you have to go again?" Danny asked as he took a bite of cereal. Danny's parents were out for the day and Jazz was still in collage, so the three teens had decided to stretch their legs and relax so to speak. Phantom was tossing a ball made of ecto between his hands in a relaxed manner before looking up at Danny's question.
"I've told you before haven't I? My parents allow me to stay in the human world so long as I bring back any information about ghost activity," he grinned a bit, a small green tint to his cheeks, "though, since not much has been happening, I more just visit them and my sister. You could equal it to the daily paranoid call from mom, but I actually have to go see them since my phone doesn't reach the GZ." He chuckled.
Fire hummed, tapping her claws on the table in thought, "Can I meet them?" She looked up with a grin on her face, "Better question, have you even told them about me?"
Phantom sighed, the ball stilling in his hands as he looked up at the ceiling, trying to recall, "I mentioned that you came here by very unusual means, and that you and Danny have become close, but I haven't revealed anything outside your name that you wouldn't want me to; your business is not mine to divulge."
Her ears perked up, tail wagging, "Awe! You're so sweet." She said, a soft smile on her face before it dropped, her ear twitching. "You didn't answer my first question though, Royalty."
Phantom bit his lip, looking unsure, "I'd have to ask them, I mean, they only know what Danny looks like because of Clockwork and that...incident with Vortex." Both boys cringed at the mention of that before Phantom continued, "They haven't even met Danny in person, though Ellie and I talk about him quite a bit in different forms, especially to my mom."
"Well, now might be a good time for them to meet us! My parents have met you, time to return the favor and let me meet my future in-laws," Danny said with a teasing grin at the end.
Phantom huffed, "A little too early to be thinking of marriage, Danny, but I guess I see your point."
He stood and headed toward the basement, "Give me two hours."
Fire flicked her tail with a smirk as she leaned back into her chair, "Phantom, you already know how impatient we are, so," her smirk grew, "I think one hour is much more reasonable. Don't you think Danny?"
Danny grinned, his eyes flashing for a moment, "Or we all could just go now and get it over with."
Phantom groaned, "My father's not going to like that..." He sighed, "Fine, but try to make a good impression."
"Sure, sure," Danny waved him off, standing up and walking over next to him, "haven't I always made the best first impressions?" He asked, giving Phantom a peck on the cheek.
"Well, I can name a few-" Danny elbowed him, both laughing before looking over at Fire, "Shall we?" Phantom said with a smirk.
Fire returned it as she stood up and walked over to them, adjusting her jacket so it rested more comfortably on her shoulders, "Yep, lead the way princess."
Phantom rolled his eyes, still grinning as he lead the others down to the Fenton Portal. He quickly walked around, turning off any weapons that could attack them when they returned (though he was sure the Fentons would turn them back on again like always) before standing next to the portal and gesturing to it.
"Ladies first," he said, looking at Fire.
She snickered, pushing him in and glancing at Danny, "I agree with that sentiment." The wolf girl then pushed Danny through before going in herself.
