Questioned

As I walked into the house I noticed that no one was home. I was happy about this.

I put my stuff down in my room and went into the kitchen to make myself a snack. I pulled out some bread, peanut butter and some jelly, and made a sandwich. I poured myself a glass of milk and sat down.

It was silent. I finished eating and put everything away. I sat down on the couch, turned on the TV and flicked through the channels. Tom and Jerry was on, so I watched it. I got bored of it after a while, which happens with me for a lot of things.

I just sat there in silence, with nothing to do. I sighed and got up, I could go over to Pony's.

It was a bit cold outside so I grabbed my coat.

I heard a car pull up behind me. I didn't turn around. Instead, I just kept walking.

I moved off to the side of the road since the car was getting closer. I could still hear it behind me so I turned around.

I stopped to let them go by, but when they noticed that I wasn't going to move, they stopped their car right in front of me.

There were two of them, one kind of weedy and the other had a pretty decent build. I could probably take them alone but not together.

They got out of the car and walked over to me.

"Hey, I'm Andrew," one of them said.

"And I'm Kevin," said the other one.

"Hi," I said, before walking off.

"Come back!" Yelled Andrew.

I ignored them and kept walking.

"Don't ignore us!" Yelled Kevin.

"Don't tell me what to do!" I yelled back.

Then I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist and lift me up. It was Andrew.

"Put me down!" I snapped. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

I grabbed my switch from my back pocket and attempted to dig it into Andrew's back, but he grabbed it off me before I could even try.

Andrew carried me over to his car and when we got to it, he sat me down on the hood and took out a gun.

"What the fuck?" I cried.

"Shush!" Andrew snapped. "One wrong move and I'll pull the trigger."

"What do you want?" I asked.

"We want you to ask a few questions," Kevin said.

"Fine," I agreed.

"About your little friend Johnny," Kevin told me.

This wasn't good.

"Were you there when Bob was killed?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"Was Bob really trying to drown your horse friend?" Kevin asked.

I decided that the smartest thing to do would be to just tell the truth.

"Yeah, why do you wanna know all this?" I asked.

Kevin slapped me in the face.

"We lost a friend. We want to know everything that happened," Andrew said.

"How did you know I was involved then?" I asked.

"The paper," Andrew said.

"Oh, you mean the editorials?" I asked.
