Zoey's POV

One week after Grace said she would adopt me she came to get me. It had been two weeks total since I ran awaty, and today's the day I'm going back. I'm anxious, scared, excited, and embarresed that I left, all at the same time.

Just a second later Grace pulled up in a taxi, just her, I asked if she could come alone, which she did. Grace got out of the taxi, and came running in, some things ever change.

"Zoey, I missed you, promise you'll never leave again."

"Uhh... Ok?"

"What's wrong? You seem down, I'm back, everything can go back to normal."

"No, I'm fine."

"Promise?"

"Promise," I promised, even though I was no where near fine.

I was confused, or lost, you could say. What if Ross is still mad? And what will Dad and Matt think, I just got back, and now I'm leaving for good. I'll miss them, but when Matt turns 18 he can come. I hope.

"Do you already have your bags," Grace asked.

"Umm, yea, let me just go say bye."

"Ok, I'll get your bags."

I went off to find Dad first, I saw him in the living room.

"Umm, Dad," I said getting his attetion. He knows I'm leaving today.

"Hi Princess, come here," he said standing up. I walked over to him, and gave him a hug.

"I'll miss you," I said crying my eyes out.

"I'll miss you too. Now you listen to me, you're going to make it big. I believe in you, you are the strongest young women I have ever seen. I remember when you came here you were just a scared 13 year old, along with Matt, you've changed so much since then. You can stand for yourself, remember I'm just an airplane ride away. I'd drop whatever I'm doing to comfort you."

"I love you, Dad," I sobbed into his shirt.

"I love you, Princess. Call me at anytime, you still have my phone number," I nodded, "Good, bye, I'll miss you."

And with that I left my dad, and went to find Matt. Who doesn't know about me leaving. The foster parents had to know, not the siblings. And I never knew how to tell him. I knocked on his bedroom door.

"Come in," he yelled threw the door. I entered, and he saw my tear stained cheeks, "What's wrong," he asked rushing over to me.

"Umm, I have to leave."

"What?"

"I'm leaving."

"Why, I thought you were staying this time."

"I was, then plans changed. I'm being adopted then moving back. I'm sorry."

"Even though I'm angry, I can't leave you being mad. I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"I know Dad probably gave you this speech already, but I'll always be there for you. And when I turn 18 I'll come to LA. Until then, you can't flee back to London to get rid of your problems. You're stong, way more than those Americans."

"You're the best big brother anyone could ask for."

"And you're the best little sister anyone could ask for, Half Pint," he said, refering to my nickname.

"I'll miss you."

"And I'll miss you," were the last words he said to me before I left.

The taxi ride to the airport was quiet, other than Grace talking about the past two weeks, which I wasn't listening to.
