"Lavender what happened? Are you okay?" Aidan asked worriedly pulling me into an awkward hug, as I continued to cry. Flora was still asleep, not paying us any mind.

"Yeah...Yeah I'm fine." I answered burying my face in his shoulder. "It's just my dream, it scared me."

"It's okay, just tell me what happened." He responded as he pulled away from the hug. I told him about my dream. The whole time I told him about it, he looked even more worried than be for. "If she is real she knows we're coming. She most likely will send people and monsters after us, to kill us."

"I know, we are basically staring death in the face." I responded with a sad smile.

"Well ... wake up Flora, you need to learn how to use your weapons."

"Again, you need to be balanced. Sword fighting is like a dance if you are not balanced you will fall, and your opponent will kill you." Aidan demanded taking up his stance again, while I got up off the ground. I tried again, I used all the techniques Aidan taught me while also using dance steps I learned at the castle.

"Good, you're at least able to protect yourself in case we're attacked." Aidan stated as we walked to a nearby stream to get water.

"Thanks, it did help that you gave examples of how it should be." I responded. When we got to the stream,  Aidan sat there looking at the water while I cupped my hand in the water and drank. "Aidan are you okay? You should get some water."

"Oh yeah, I'm fine..." He answered getting some water. "It's...It's just..."

"Is it your mom?" taking a wild guess.

"Yeah, it's the first time she will be alone for this long. I'm just worried about her." He answered.

"I'm taking as you really love her." I muttered. He nodded and we sat there silently for a while, before Aidan got up and headed back to the clearing where Flora was waiting for her fighting lesson. When they were gone I grabbed an apple and the book from my bag and sat down and started reading.

"You're in my woods Miss..." A voice rang out from the trees. I looked up from my book and looked around to see were the voice is coming from.

"Who ... who's there?" I asked.

"I'm Sarel, and this is my woods. Who are you and why are you here?" The voice questioned.

"My name is Lavender and me and my friend are just passing through on our way to the Ice Queen's Castle. We won't cause any harm to you or your forest." I answered, trying to hide my fear. "Please show your face so I can talk to you properly."

A tall and slender boy with long silver hair and long pointed hair. His clothes were all green and had dark brown boots.

"You're an elf?" I ask in  curiosity.

"Yeah and what are you? You're not a human" He asked me.

"Yes...yes I am" I snapped.

"The only humans I have seen in these woods are men." He snapped back.

"Just because the only humans you see are men doesn't me there are no women." I replied calming down a bit.

"You're right. So, the Ice Queen's castle, what are you doing going there?" He asked.

"To kill her and bring back the warmth of our world." I answered.

"I'm coming with you then." He stated. "If we don't stop her she will ruin the forests and everything will die."

"Yeah, okay. We just to wait for my friends to come back, so we can leave." I answered with a smile. We sat down and I continued to read the book and eat my apple. Moments later Aidan and Flora came back from her lesson. I introduced them to Sarel and told them he was coming with us.

"Well, everyone pack up. We're going to try to at least get somewhere today." Aidan stated starting to pack. Once we finished packing we continued North till the sun was going down.  Then we found a clearing and camped out for the night, Sarel took watch for the night. Before I went to sleep I handed him an orange to eat.

"Thank you, Lavender. May you and your friends have beautiful dreams." He beamed at me. I smiled back and laid down, hoping for better dreams than the last. I was completely wrong.
