It's snowing as I walk in the woods. I should have known something was wrong when I saw a trail of red snow, I should have never followed it.  It leads to an injured person laying on the cold ground, I ran over to them and realized it was Aidan. He was covered in ice crystals and had a large gash in his shoulder, he must have been there awhile because he was gasping for breath. "Aidan ... Aidan what happened?" I ask him filled with worry. He slowly looked at me and a voice that was not his came from him as he spoke with a voice that was not his own. "Turn back now princess and I will let you and your friends live." I looked around and Flora and Sarel were curled up in balls bleeding to death too. Suddenly out of nowhere, something clamped down on my shoulder and as the pain grew my vision blurred. Till I was laying on the ground lying next to Aidan sharing the same fate as him.

I was shook awake by Sarel, who looked very worried. Once he saw I was awake he looked a bit relieved.

"Are you okay lavender?" Sarel asked.

"Yeah it was just a bad dream nothing to worry about." I lied so then he would calm down.

"Okay, if you ever need to talk I am here, you know." He stated still looking a little tense. So, I decided to change the subject.

"Hey where is Aidan?" I asked looking around realizing he was gone.

"Oh... he got up really early, said he was going hunting for food." Sarel said looking off into the woods.

"Okay, if he comes back tell him I went to go wash my clothes please." I say while getting up. I grabbed my dirty clothes, some soap I bought in town, and my last dresses to change into while I wash my clothes.

"Sure thing, scream if something happens. Okay?" He responded

"Will do." I said walking off to find a lake or river.

When I found a lake, I changed into my dress and started washing my clothes. After a while the water started to turn a crimson red and something started to float towards me, then I realized it was Aidan and I let out a scream.

Aidan's pov:

When I heard her scream I ran toward the sound as fast as I can possibly go. When I found Lavender, she seemed as if she saw a ghost. I looked over and saw Sarel, most likely seeing what was wrong too. I ran up beside her and asked:

"Lav, what's wrong?"

"She killed him." She said with a shaky voice and pointing at the water.

"Who did she kill? I don't see anyone." I responded.

"She...She killed Aidan." Lavender started to cry. I pulled her into a tight hug.

"I'm right here, I'm not dead. Please... please don't cry." I whisper in her ear as she cries with her face buried in my chest.

"Aidan..." Sarel whispered slowly walking over to us.

"Yes, Sarel." I responded.

"Do you think the Ice Queen has anything to do with this?" He asked.

"Definitely, she has been targeting her dreams and now her reality" I answered looking down at Lavender. She was scared and sad, and I wonder why she was so sad that someone she met  a couple days ago was 'dead'.

"Oh..." Sarel said in shock.

"Aidan?" Lavender said looking up at me." You're not dead?"

"Never, the Ice queen was messing with your mind." I answered.

"I should head back to the camp site." Sarel mentioned and started to walk off. After a bit Lavender pulled away from the hug.

"I should finish up, you are glad to stay if you want." She said going back to her work.

"Sure thing, I'll stay here to make sure you're safe." I responded while leaning against a nearby tree and I could see her face turn a bit red. I was pretty quiet while she worked, she hummed a sweet tune that I almost fell asleep to. It was beautiful  the way she worked to the music like she was dancing to the song the light from the trees fell upon her like something from a dream.

"What song is it that you're humming?" I interrupted.

"Oh, it's called the magic flute. It's a beautiful song really." She answered continuing hanging her clothes up to dry.

"It is ..." I said quietly with a smile.

After she finished we headed back to our camp site to pack everything up, and started to get a little distance. While everyone was asleep I looked up at the stars and recapped everything that happened the past week before my eyelids grew heavy and I fell into what seemed to be a beautiful dream till it wasn't.

So what do you think about Aidan's point of view? I am actually very proud of it. Thanks for reading and sorry it took so long. :)
