A/N: Hello! I'm so so so so sooooo sorry for not updating this! I'm currently working on a big-ish project for all you sherlock fans out there soooooo yeah. Thanks and happy reading!

"Hey guys!" Betty walks into the diner where the rest of her friends are happily chatting about their winter breaks.

"What's up, Betts?" Betty slides into the booth next to Jughead and leans her head on his shoulder.

"Nothing much" She smiles up at him.

"Could you two be any cuter?" Veronica asks snapping the two lovers out of their moment.

Betty rolls her eyes. "Anyways, I'm hosting a small get together tonight at my place."

"Hmm" Kevin pulls up a chair, joining the conversation. "Did I hear that Riverdale's own sweetheart is hosting a party?"

"I figured we could all use a break from our own families and just spend time together."

"Good idea. My dad won't listen to any of my black hood ideas and won't let me leave my house unless he knows every detail, so I really need this." Archie speaks up.

"I agree. So who will be coming to this get together?" Veronica asks, propping her head up with her elbows on the table.

"Well," Betty pulls a list out of her coat pocket and smooths it out on the table."

The list read:
-Betty
-Jughead
-Veronica
-Archie
-Kevin
-Cheryl
-Moose
-Reggie
-Josie
-Valerie
-Chuck
-Toni
-Sweet Pea
-Ethel

"Cheryl?"

"Valerie?"

"Reggie?"

"Toni and Sweet Pea?"

"CHUCK?!"

Betty tries to hide the grin creeping up on her face while her friends franticly scream out the names.

"Calm down!" She says. "I think all these people are going to add some excitement to the party!"

"But Chuck?" Jughead asks. "You do realized he attacked me last time, right?"

"I know, but..."

"Betty...." Veronica raises her eyebrow.

"Fine. I'll cross Chuck off the list." She scribbled his name with her pink gel pen. "Everyone else is coming though." With that, she grabs her list and leaves the diner, leaving her semi-fuming friends to contemplate the party.

"This is going to be one hell of a party." Jughead says burying his face in hands.

Betty lets everyone else know about the party and starts to set up the tables and food. She figured someone else would bring alcohol so he didn't bother sneaking any out of her parents' cupboard.

An hour later, the guests start to arrive. Luckily, Archie, Jughead, and Veronica were the first to arrive.

Betty took a deep breath as the doorbell rang. "Here we go."

As soon as she opened the door, in came Cheryl with her entourage, already blasting music.

"Let the party begin."

As the rest of the guests trickled into the party, Jughead staked out in the kitchen, searching the party for certain troublemakers. Veronica and Archie were happily dancing and jumping around with the rest of the crowd. Betty was cleaning up a spilled beer in the dining room.

"This isn't as bad as my birthday party." Jug was now behind Betty.

Tossing him a rag, she stood up. "Yeah. Do you know how to get out a beer stain?"

"Warm water and dishwasher detergent." He said with a smile. "I've had plenty of chances to figure that out when my dad lived with me."

"Thanks! I'm actually surprised no one had died yet." Jughead laughed.

"Yeah me too. You really took a big risk bringing rivals together in one enclosed space."

"Hey, as long as there is alcohol and dancing they will be fine."

"We should probably get in there soon. The countdown is about to happen!"

"And will I have a special someone to kiss a midnight?" Betty asked playfully.

"If you're lucky." Jug winked.

"Ok save the flirting for later." Veronica says from the doorway.

The two embarrassed live birds are pulled into the living room just as the countdown begins.

Five....

Four....

Three....

Two....

One....

Jug pulls Betty into a gentle kiss, as everyone else couples up.

"Happy New Year Jug." Betty says smiling up at the raven haired boy.

"Happy New Year"
