At first, Dan was going to go on twitter to shed some of his own personal experiences with mental health. However, after seeing multiple celebrities take action he didn't want to 'join the bandwagon'...but he feels very strongly about this subject and can't keep his feelings to himself.
So, he sets his camera up and creates a short two minute-something video of himself explaining his feelings on this sensitive topic.
He sombrely ends the video by saying: "I'm still going through my own battles myself...as you guessed by some of our really dark lyrics. And I'd never dare joke about something that is so triggering and sensitive for other people. And that's a promise I'll always keep. Just be nice..."
