It was about 8:40 and I was scared Bev bailed on me. Jennifer and Dad still weren't here, I think they've been staying at a hotel outside of town in all honesty.

I heard a knock on the door, so I ran up to the door and opened it.

"Hey Bev."

"Hey y/n." She hugged, which I didn't expect, then we went to my room.

I went up to my room and on my desk were several pictures of me and Stan from our picture wars that I didn't put away. Immediately snatched them and held them behind my back.

"You can set your things at the end of my bed." I pointed to it with my other hand. I opened one of my art journals and shoved them in it.

"Let's give eachother a makeover." I stated pulling out my makeup drawer in my vanity.

"Yes definitely." She smiled.

We changed into our pajamas, then we started on the makeovers.

I started on her face first.

I put a brown eye shadow on her lid, then did the same to the other eye.

"So Bill, huh? He seems to have quite to liking to you." I spoke wanting to know some of the drama.

"Well yeah, but I mean Ben is also really sweet." She spoke quietly.

"So then which one do you like?" I asked putting a skin colored shade on the inter corner of her lid and blending across her lid.

"Well, I like both of them." She spoke smiling.

"Well, you're in a pickle. Which one are you gonna date?" I asked as I took a darker color and blended it into the outer corner.

"Honestly, whichever one makes move or asks me first." She crossed her legs in my chair.

"What if they ask you out at the same time and make you choose?" I ask, then I take some silver glitter and pack it on the lid.

"Oh Jesus I don't know, it'll be the spur of the moment kind of thing." She stated confidently.

Beverly opened her eyes and the shadow looked great on her. She went to look in the mirror but I stopped her.

"I'm not done." I pulled out my mascara, then put red lipstick of her. She looked in the mirror and she was shocked.

"Oh my god, you made me beautiful." She exclaimed.

"Who were beautiful before, I just added some glitter." I stated.

"It's your turn now." I sat in the chair. "For crush talk and makeover."

"Shit." I tried to get up but she forced me back down. I closed my eyes and she started on my eyes.

"So you and Stan huh? You guys seem pretty friendly." She spoke.

"We're neighbors, he lives in the light blue house next door." We've only told Richie about us dating, we haven't told anyone else. I gotta stand my ground till Stan says I can tell.

"Cute, so like a girl next door situation." She spoke teasingly.

"More like no situation. We're just friends." I stated again. This felt like an interrogation.

"Are you sure, because he totally has the hots for you." If only she knew. I smiled.

"No he doesn't, you don't know what you're talking about."

"From the looks of it you like him too!" She exclaimed happily.

I opened my eyes and she did my mascara.

"Shh, Dont worry about it, I don't like like him." I spoke quietly.

"Whatever, but you totally do."

"Anyways at the Quarry, the bra you were wearing, was that a training bra?" I asked her.

She did my lipstick.

"Yeah, it's hard to get a real bra when the pharmacy only sells training bras and my dad doesn't want me to grow up." She spoke sadly.

"I can give you one of my old ones." I suggested.

She closed the tube and put it back on my vanity.

I stood up and walked the My bra drawer, and look for an old A cup. I finally found one white one and handed it to her.

"There's a bathroom down the hall. Only one on the Right." I spoke as I walked to the mirror.

'She did my makeup extremely well. Like way better than I did hers.' I thought to myself.

She came back in with her training bra in her hand, and she was automatically confident. More than before.

"What a queen." I complemented her.

"Stop talking about yourself." She smiled at me.

She walked to my bed and picked up my stuffed animal Bear. THAT STAN GAVE ME SHIT.

"Who's this?" She asked holding up the bear.

"That is Betty, the actual best bear ever." I spoke leaning on my vanity.

"Where did you get Betty?" She asked looking at the bow covered in hearts on the ear.

"It was a Valentines Day present." I spoke trying not to lie to my new best friend.

"Who gave it to you?" Beverly crossed her arms and was smiling at me. She had me cornered metaphorically.

"My Uncle Rob." I smiled.

"Okay sure."

I woke up as the sunlight beamed into my face. I squinted trying to look at my alarm clock. 11:21, shit.

I quickly got up and gently shook Beverly awake.

"Bev come on, we gotta go. We're gonna be late to Bill's."

She yawned, "okay okay fine."

I went to the bathroom, I fell asleep with my makeup on. I grabbed a wash clothes and rubbed my face till the majority of it went away.

I went back into my room and grabbed a makeup wipe and scrubbed off the rest. Then I started to put on my makeup on a quick manor.

Beverly went to the bathroom to change.

I brushed my hair and left it down since I don't have time to do anything with it.

I looked in my closet, I don't know what to wear.

"Bev what should I wear?" I yelled.

She walked in, "light wash shorts, red tank top, white chucks." She started to tie her shoes.

I quickly went to the bathroom and change. Putting on my shoes as I hobbled to my room.

We walked downstairs and I saw my Dad laying on the couch asleep. I laid the couch throw over him then walked out the door.
