It's a week later since the memorial

It's a week later since the memorial. It has also been a week since I've talked to Regan and Mom. Regan went back to college, so she's no longer a problem. But mom- I mean Jennifer is a different petty and spiteful story.

It is also the first day of school, at a new school. I woke up an hour and a half before I needed to arrive at school.

I grabbed my camera and put it in my book bag

I grabbed my camera and put it in my book bag. I went out and bought my supplies myself, with no financial help from anyone. I put my hair into a ponytail, took an allergy pill, grabbed some Kleenexes, then I hopped on my bike for school.

————————

I eased my bike into the bike rack, and held onto my book bag as I walked into the school.

I pushed the doors open with all my strength, and it was tough. I walked to where the office people were.

"Excuse me ma'am." I spoke softly to the lady at the front desk.

"Yes sweetie?"

"I just moved here, and I need my schedule." I spoke quietly.

"You didn't receive it in the mail?" I shook my head no, "What's your name darling?"

"Y/n l/n." I stated blankly.

"L/n, Y/n," she pulled out a white piece of paper, "I'm so sorry to here about what happened to your sister, it's really a tragedy." I smiled at her and left the office. I'm still a little bitter about the Amy situation.

I took a look at my schedule.

God I hope I have some classes with Stan, Eddie, Richie, or Bill

God I hope I have some classes with Stan, Eddie, Richie, or Bill. Those are honestly the only friends I have left.

"What's up, where's your sister Regan. She was so fine." A guy with a familiar voice asked me. I turned around and it was the guy who was bothering Richie before.

"She went to college. Probably won't be seeing her again." I spoke to him, then turned and walked away.

"Since she's gone, I'll just have to settle with you." The guy put a harsh arm around me and pulled me close to him. He smelled strongly of cigarettes and alcohol. I quickly pushed him away.

"Oh my gosh, I don't even know you. Get away from me." I shouted at him, but it didn't cause a scene because she halls were extremely crowded.

I started to run out of the school and I heard a "You're gonna regret this!" Come from the guy. I shivered, he was just so icky.

I looked behind me while running to see if he was following me, but then I ran into someone, then fell down.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going-"

"Y/n, what were you doing?" I looked up at the person confused when they said my name. It was Stan.

"Oh hey, this creep just tried to hit on me. So I ran away." I explained.

Stan looked furious, "who was it?" I looked around for him, but he disappeared. I'm sure I'll find him later.

The bell rang loudly signaling for everyone to go to class.

"Hey what's your first class?" I asked grabbing his schedule, and we both had PE, "let's walk together."

—————————

We all sat in the center of the gym. It turns out I also had PE with Eddie.

"I am Coach Mendel, we will have our gym uniform sizing. So girls get on one half of the gym, boys on the other." The coach yelled.

I walked to the left and Stan and Eddie to the right.

She went down the line and asked our sizes. Same for the boys. Then called out our names and gave us our outfits. Then the bell rang, I guess classes are pretty short, maybe 50 minutes.

My next class was world history, so I'd have to go upstairs.

———

I didn't have any of my friends in this class but I really like the teacher. Miss Spaniel. She's maybe in her early 30s and she basically roasts the students she hates. Iconic.

The bell ring and this class was down stairs. I'm going to have great calves by the end of the year.

I watched Richie walk into the class, and I already knew this class would be interesting.

I walked in and the desks were put in pairs. So I immediately tracked down Richie and sat beside him.

"I heard the teacher for this class is a real ass wipe." Richie whispered to me.

"Where would they get that from?" I asked confused. Then to what I assume as the teacher slammed the door. He slowly walked to his desk.

"I am all about punctuality. Which means if you're ever late, the door locks automatically, and you can go to the office. I won't tell you my name because I don't care about yours. Now shut up till the bell rings." He sat at his desk and type on his computer.

"What an asshole." Richie whispered.

"HEY, I said shut up. Not talk more and disappoint your parents."

The bell finally rung after many minutes of Richie drawing on the desk.

I grabbed my stuff and ran out of that classroom. I looked at my schedule again and I had English. The class was upstairs. I will be dead inside by the end of the day.

————

I was almost late, because the class is at the end of the hall. There was only one seat left next to- oh hey there's Stan.

I quickly walked over to the desk next to him.

"Hey." I said to him cheerfully. Stan was looking down at his desk.

"Oh hey y/n." He looked up from his desk, "how has school been for you?"

"Kinda crappy, what about you?"

"I have almost all my classes with Richie so far and I want to die." He looked tired.

"Stan, you look tired. Did you not get any sleep last night?" I asked concerned.

"My dad was on my case about my Torah reading." I felt bad for Stan. His parents have these extremely high expectations for him, but it's difficult for him to reach them.

I gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Hey everybody, I'm your teacher Miss Naut. In this class we will be reading a lot of Shakespeare's works. That includes Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth." I smiled, literature has always been my favorite subject.

It was lunch time now. There was two lunches, and I was told people typically bring their lunch. So I'll just wait till I get home to eat.

Then after lunch was Art with I had with Bill. Then I had math with Eddie. Then club. They had the club booths set up in the gym, I decided to with Photography.

Then the bell rang for school to end.
