Chapter 9 // A Question

*Olivia's POV*

I opened my eyes to the bright sunlight going through the shades in my room. I immediately closed my eyes. It just made my headache, caused by my hangover worse. I stood up and walked to the bathroom attached to my room. I turned on the light and looked at myself in the mirror. My eye make up was smeared, most of my lipstick was on my cheek, and they also had tear stains. I turned on the shower, getting it to the temperature that I wanted.

"Note to self, don't ever drink this much again." I muttered while striping and getting into the shower. I washed everything and shaved. I got out wrapped my towel and got dressed. I put on a gray pocket tee with the pocket floral, and black leggings. My hair was in a side braid. Today was gonna be a chill day. My phone went off, it was Juliana, she wanted to know if I wanted to hang out today.

Me: Sure. Where?

Her: We could go to the park. Then that ice cream shop.

Me: Okay. Meet you there in 20?

Her: See ya.

I grabbed a little side bag, money, and sunglasses. I ran downstairs, put on my white high tops, then headed off to the park. When I got there I saw Juliana sitting by the fountain that was by the entrance. She saw me and waved, we met in the middle.

"Hey girl!" She replied while hugging. "Are you okay after everything that happened last night?"

"Yup, let's just put it behind us." I replied, we walked around for a bit, as we got to know each other. We then decided to go to the ice cream shop. I saw the door and ran for it, once I entered, I swear people thought I was crazy, you could say I looked like a kid in a candy shop. Juliana just laughed at me. "Hey! It's not that funny I just like ice cream a lot!"

She walked up and we both got our ice cream. I got cotton candy, and she got mint chocolate chip. They're both good, but cotton candy over all. Juliana went to go lick her ice cream, but got it on her nose. We both started to laugh as we walked out, she tried to rub it off. We exited the shop, and started to walk back to the park. We wanted to sit and enjoy nature. Not really, we just need a place to sit.

"Hey Olivia!" I turned around to see Carter, walking with Gilinsy, call to me. They walked to us. I greeted them both with a nod.

"Juliana, right. Wanna take a walk with me?" Gilinsky asked her.

"S-uure." She stuttered out, she must have a crush on him. they walked off, but not before she turned back. I smiled and winked at her.

"Anyway, I wanted to talk about last night. I'm so sorry, I was a little tipsy. I shouldn't have yelled at you, I left you at a party with people you didn't know. I should have kept more eye on you. It's just when I opened the door and saw him on you. I got jealous, cause I like you a lot. I just want us to be normal. So, will, you forgive me?" He asks me, with pleading eyes.

"Well, I did say that if you guys screwed up were done, but I guess I could make a small exception." I told him, leaning over to kiss him on  the cheek. I hugged him after.

"Also, I was wondering, if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow? A real one." He told me.
