A very skilled man with apparent ties to the Satsuma Domain. His extreme strength and prowess with swords rivals that of the best Shinsengumi swordsmen.
Chikage Kazama [2]
A man with ties to the Satsuma Domain who claims to be a demon. He has a very specific interest in the heroine.
Choshu Domain
A domain governed by Takachika Mouri, and Opposition daimyo. Most members of this domain were Nationalistic Imperialists during the early part of the Bakumatsu Period, and later attempted more directly to overthrow the shogunate.
Choshu Expedition
A military expedition led by the Tokugawa Shogunate against the Choshu, who attacked the Imperial Palace, and subsequently became enemies of the court after the Hamaguri Rebellion.
Corps Uniform [1]
A light-blue uniform that the Shinsengumi wear when patrolling in Kyoto.
Corps Uniform [2]
A white-coloured uniform used during the night or special occasions.
Country Samurai
Lower strata of the samurai class. In the Tosa Domain, it points to the decendents of the Chosakabe Clan before the Yamauchi Clan governed.
