Leila xx"Leila! Leila, wake up!" Michael's hiss jolted me to a start as I rolled over in bed, groaning for five more minutes. Then two things hit me, one being that it was the day of the second task, and the other the realisation that boys couldn't get into the girls' dorms, but Michael was somehow the one waking me up so unless he had changed gender overnight, I wasn't where I was supposed to be.
And sure enough, after several moments more contemplation I remembered that I all but fell asleep in the library and couldn't remember anything after being in the kitchens, and I registered the scent of Luke coming from the soft sheets.
"Where am I?" I mumbled sleepily, and I heard Luke's chuckle.
"You're in the boys' dorm, because you fell asleep in the kitchens last night and I couldn't carry you into your dorm so I brought you here instead."
"Right," I settled back to sleep, then sat up in alarm. "Wait, what?"
And sure enough, there were the nine untidy beds I had become accustomed to seeing at Christmas time and occasions few and far in between, along with my four favourite boys all wandering around in front of me, a shirtless Luke being one of them.
"Morning, sleepyhead," he settled on the bed next to me and pecked my cheek - I was acutely aware of the fact that he was shirtless, and very close to me on his bed. "Get ready quick, it's the second task."
"Where are the other boys?" I groaned, standing up and wobbling slightly before regaining my balance and stepping towards the door.
"They all got ready and left pretty quickly when they found out you were in here," Calum said. "I think they were embarrassed about you seeing anything."
"I should probably get changed too," I gestured to my crumpled robes I had slept in, and messy hair. "This isn't a great look on me."
"You can pull it off," Michael winked and I waved a finger at him.
"No flirting with me, you are a taken man and I expect you to behave like one."
Giggling at his groans and the echoes of my teasing from the other boys, I hopped down the stairs and quickly ran up the other ones to the girls' dorm, where Ginny was sat on her bed waiting for me.
"Where have you been?!" she screeched when she saw me. "I've been worried sick, what was I supposed to think when you and Hermione didn't come back to the dorm last night?!"
"I was in the boys' dorm," I said, frowning. "But I wasn't with Hermione, I didn't know she didn't come back."
"You were in the boys' dorm?" All of Ginny's anger quickly evaporated and was replaced with a smirk.
"Yes, it's a long story, I'll tell you later," I said. "What do you mean Hermione didn't come back last night?"
"Exactly that. I thought she was with you, but if you don't know where she is then I don't know where she can be."
"She's probably by the Black Lake or helping Harry prepare," I said, motioning to the door. "We can meet her there."
Ginny just shrugged and we set off down the stairs to the common room, where Luke was already waiting.
"Let's go, the others are saving us seats apparently," he informed us, grabbing my hand as I took Ginny's and we followed the stream of students trickling towards the Black Lake. The setting looked completely different packed with people, not the peacefully comforting swaying water surrounded by soft lime grass that I had become accustomed to sitting by after exams to celebrate by breathing the tranquil air and swirling the murky liquid with my hand.
