"So we'll meet you guys at mine after your detention?" Geoff asked. "Yeah" Shawn replied. "See you in a bit then" they all said and then left me and Shawn. "I'll wait here then" I said. "Yeah, thanks for waiting back for me" Shawn said. "It's cool" I said. "Well I'll see you in a bit" Shawn said as he walked away. I sat down on the bench and got my phone out and waited for Shawn. An hour passed and Shawn walked out of detention. "How was it?" I asked. "Shit" he replied. "I actually hate that guy, he's the most annoying teacher in the world" Shawn said as we both walked out of school. Shawns rant continued all the way to Geoff's house. "Finally!" Emma said as she answered the door. We walked in and they were all in the living room hanging out with pizza. "We've saved you some slices" She said. A little while later me and Izzy were in the kitchen getting some snacks. "So how do you feel about Shawn?" She asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well you were waiting for Shawn and you'd never do that for us, especially if you had to wait for an hour" Izzy said. "So?" I asked. "So, Do you like him or something?" I asked. "No" I replied. "Well I think you do, think about it" Izzy said and she then made her way back to everyone else. I stood alone in the kitchen thinking about what Izzy said, I was just being a friend by waiting behind for him, me and Shawn are friends and that's all we're gonna be.
I walked in and sat next to Shawn and thought more about what Izzy said. Maybe I do and I just needed someone to point it out to me. I can't like Shawn because what if she doesn't like me back and then I'm just ruining the friendship. I have to ignore my feelings until they go away.
