"What have you got first lesson vi?" Shawn asked. "Umm" I said as I reached for my timetable in my bag. "Agrhhh, physics, well at least it's with you" I said smiling. Shawn smiled back but broke the eye contact and asked Geoff something. The bell rang and we all went to first period.
Me and Shawn had the most boring physics teacher in the world, Mr Bright. He was really old, I'm surprised he isn't retired. He would make you answer questions and if you got a question wrong he would yell at you, honestly he's the reason why I'm failing this subject.
We all walked in and took our seats, me and Shawn didn't sit next to each other he sat at the front and i sat two rows behind.
The class dragged on forever and I felt like time had slowed down. "So" the teacher said but as he sat down he farted but I don't think he realised. Shawn turned around and looked at me which made us both laugh. "Shawn!" The teacher snapped. Shawn turned around and looked at him. "Who are you communicating with?" He asked. "No one sir, I was looking at the clock on the wall" he said, I could tell he was holding a laugh back. "Well if you find my lesson boring, maybe you'll find detention more boring today after school" he said. "But sir, it's the last day of school! You can't do that!" Shawn said. "I can do what I want" he snapped back. Mr. Bright has always hated Shawn, I'm not sure why he just always seemed to yell at him for any small reason and now he's got a detention it totally messes up our plans.
"Seriously Shawn?! You got a detention! Out of all the days it's had to be today?" Emma said as we sat down at a table for lunch. "Sorry! It wasn't my fault! It's was stupid Mr. Bright! Man I hate that teacher and for some reason he hates me!" Shawn said as he got his lunch out his bag. "You probably irritate him a lot" Izzy said. "How?" Shawn asked. "Whistling?" She suggested. "I don't whistle" Shawn said, at that moment everyone rolled their eyes, including me. "Do I whistle?" He asked. "Yes Shawn, you do, quite a lot actually, it's kinda annoying" I said. "Even in class?" He asked. "Yup" I said. "It's a habit! I can't help it" Shawn said smiling. "Anyway, now Shawns got detention" Emma said as she shot Shawn a glare. "What's the plan? I don't feel like waiting around here" she added. "Yeah same" everyone said. "It's cool, I'll wait, me and Shawn can catch up with you guys?" I suggested. "Yeah that sounds cool with me" Shawn answered looking at me. "Agreed then?" Theo asked. We all nodded and then carried on talking about other nonsense during Lunch.
