We all sat round the camp fire singing songs and it was magical. As the night went on one by one everyone started going into their tents and going asleep but me and Shawn stayed up and he had his arm round me and a blanket wrapped round us as I leaned on his shoulder and we watched the fire. I looked up at Shawn and he tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear and he leaned in and kissed me.
"You guys are so cute" we heard Izzy say from behind. Me and Shawn pulled away and looked at each other. "Oh I didn't mean to spoil anything, I'll go" she said smiling and then she left. Me and Shawn looked at each other and laughed. "You look beautiful" he said. Butterflies started to flutter in my stomach, every time he says that I always feel like jelly inside. "Vi, you okay?" He asked obviously realising I'd drifted away in my thoughts. "Nothing, I was just thinking about you and how lucky I am to have you as my boyfriend" I said. The next morning I woke up with Shawn's arm around me and I looked up and saw that he was still asleep. "Shawn?" I said. "Mhh?" He said as he moved slightly. "You awake?" I asked. "No" he replied. I looked up at him and he had a smirk on his face. "Shut up" I said as I jokingly hit him. Shawn's eyes slowly opened and he looked at me and smiled. "Would you like to go on another date with me?" He said as he sat up slightly and placed his hand on my cheek, I love it when he does that. "I'd love too" I replied.
