A few days pass and me and Shawn are back to usual, we sorted everything out. I was walking home and I walked up to my room and I found a note and a rose on my bed. I picked it up and i read "just because I love you" I smiled as I picked up the rose and I looked over at Shawn's bedroom window and he was at his desk with his guitar and it looked like he was writing songs, he looked adorable. I walked closer to my window and I kept looking at him, I felt so grateful that I could call him my boyfriend. Shawn then looked up and saw me and he smiled and then he stood up and ran out his room and then I saw him run out his house and knock on mine. My mum must of let him in because he was then in my bedroom. "Shawn why were you running so fast? You could of just texted me?" I asked. "Because what i want to ask you isn't something I can do over text" Shawn said slightly out of breath. "What is it?" I asked. "Would you like to come to prom with me?" He asked. "Shawn, I'd love too" I said as we hugged.
Days and days passed and me and Shawn had multiple dates and one of them he ordered pizza and we just binged Netflix shows, it was magical and yes I know it isn't fancy or anything but I prefer those dates where it's simple but impactful. The day of the prom arrived and I had this beautiful dress that was blue and it was in two sets, the dress part that flowed to the floor and the top that had lace and small gems on (picture above) and I loved it. Me, Izzy and Emma got ready together and it was exciting as we had been talking about prom for years, well I haven't but now it felt like a big deal as I'm going with someone I truly love. "How does it feel finding your soul mate before the age of 20?" Emma asked as she put her ear rings in. "You think Shawn's my soulmate?" I asked. "Of course! The way you look at each other is so loving, even the way you talk about one and other, I can tell" she said. "It feels incredible, Shawn is the one for me and I love him, I guess he is my soulmate" I said.
