The feeling was like lighting flowing through my veins. I pulled away and me and Violet made eye contact, I was scared of how she would react but she just smiled. "That was a great kiss" she said. "There's a different between your kisses and Theo's, it's that after that party I was thinking more about the moment we nearly kissed over the moment me and Theo kissed, my memory obviously prefers you" she said. "Will you be mr girlfriend?" I asked. She nodded as she leaned in and kissed my lips again. Even though we've just kissed for the first time, her lips fitted mike perfectly and I'm aware that sounds crazy but it feels right. "This might sound crazy but I don't think we should tell.. the rest you know Theo, Geoff and you know the others" Violet said quietly. "I agree with you" I said. "It's just I feel like they would get involved and I want it to be special between us for a bit" she added. "I totally understand" I said as I held her hand.
I went home that night feeling like the happiest boy in the world, I've finally got the girl of my dreams. We texted a lot that night and it felt the same, usually it's the classic case of it didn't feel right dating my best friend, but that feeling wasn't here for us, it felt right. I knew this was the right choice.
