"Wait! I forgot my dog" Izzy said as we were walking. "What? How could you forget your dog?" I asked slightly laughing. "I'm forgetful" Izzy said as she started running back to hers. "I'll be back in a minute" she said. I stood there awkwardly on the street and then I saw Shawn walking up, of course he would be he's coming to the run. I looked down at my shoes and waited for him to pass by and eventually he did. I looked up and saw Izzy and her dog. "I'm back" she said and then we made our way to the run. "Why is Shawn coming anyway?" I asked Izzy. "Didn't you hear?" Izzy asked me surprised and i quickly turned my head eager to hear what she has to say, what if he's already got a new girlfriend or something?! "He's performing" she said. "Phew I thought he was meeting up with a girl or something" I said relieved. What if he meets a girl here? What if he kisses another girl?? "You Alright?" Izzy asked. "Yeah I'm just thinking, I'm scared that he's with somebody else" I said finally being honest with her. "You still like him, don't you?" She asked. "I just care" I replied looking away. "Anyway we've arrived now" I said as we walked into the park. Me and Izzy were going to do two different races mine was only 1 mile and hers was 5 miles, (which she didn't mind as she was sporty anyway) but I have to look after her dog which is called Daisy. Me and Izzy were standing around when I saw Shawn with Emma. I kept looking and I noticed that she hugged him and they looked super close. "Vi" Izzy said tapping me. "Yeah" I diss finally looking away from Shawn. "Your race is about to start you should go over to the start line" Izzy said obviously noticing my concern. "There're Just friends" Izzy said as she followed me. "Yeah I know" as I got to the start line. The whole time I was running my mind was racing faster as I thought about Shawn. The race ended I came around the 20 mark which isn't that bad. "You done really well!" Izzy said as she hugged me. "Well I need to go and start mine, here's Daisy" Izzy said as she ran off to the start line. I was feeling really hungry and I saw a stall for donuts so I went over and waited in line. I got a donut and I walked around a bit and then I heard a horn, Izzy's race had just started. I kept walking and then Daisy pulled hard on her lead and then she ran off. I ran after her but she was gone. Shit I've lost Daisy.
