I blinked and then looked away, were me and Shawn about to kiss? Was I about to kiss my best friend who happens to be my crush? Why did I look away?!! That was my chance and I messed up, completely!! "I should go" I said as I stood up. "I don't really wanna be here anymore" I said. "Same, I'll come with you" Shawn said as he stood up too. I smiled and agreed with him and we both went inside. The party was dying down a bit and the people that were left were mostly people making out and doing other sexual stuff. We made it to the front door and we walked outside and of course two more people were making out and I got a closer look and saw that it was Theo and Izzy. I rolled my eyes and me and Shawn kept walking.
"So who did you come with?" I asked. "Well I didn't really come with anyone I just kinda saw Grace and well you know what happened" Shawn said looking at the floor, he looked slightly embarrassed. "By the way you look beautiful tonight" Shawn said. "Thanks" I said tucking my hair behind my ear. "You look good too" I said. "Thanks" he replied. Jesus could this get anymore awkward?! The rest of the way was quiet as we didn't talk much. We got back to our houses and we said an awkward goodbye and had an awkward hug. I walked up to my room and "room for 2" by Dua Lipa came on (Song above) as I got changed back into my pjs and the only thought in my head was that moment between me and Shawn.
