Rey's p.o.v
----------------
I was sitting down on the wet grass, looking at the last thing that Luke Skywalker ever saw. I was admiring the sun in all of it's beauty and splendor, wishing that I could be like it, looking down at everything going on in the world without having to deal with it. I've been coming here for the past few days trying to escape my own mind, but when I do, all I think about are the very things that I was trying to forget. When the rebels and I escaped Kylo Ren and his army, I decided that it would be best to come here- to Luke's old, quiet home. I thought that maybe, just maybe, he was still here, but now I know that he isn't. Luke's death took an enormous toll on all of us. We couldn't believe it. He had sacrificed himself in order to protect us, and it was something we all had to accept, whether we liked it or not.
Not many of us are left, and the Jedi race is dying. I came to this island for a reason: to revive the Jedi. Luke thought that we needed to die out, that it was past our time, but its not. It never will be. The world needs us, now more than ever.

I walked out of my small grey hut and headed towards Rey. She had been in the same place every day since the attack, and I knew why she was there.
She feels responsible for what happened. She thinks that she could have stopped Ben had she joined him.
We've all been dealing with our own demons, all of us dealing with them in different ways, but she's having to deal with more than the rest of us.I approached her from behind and admired the view while she still hadn't noticed me. "Rey?" She turned her head towards me and I saw a tear run down her face. She looked up at me with those eyes. Those eyes that held so much more than people thought, so much emotion. They looked so much like Ben's.
I sat down next to her, slowly, due to my old age, and looked her in the eyes. "Tell me what's wrong child."
As the words came out of my mouth I saw her eyes light up for a moment as she looked at me, but then she continued to look back at the sun. "You know whats wrong." I could hear the defeat in her voice. "You are right. I do know what troubles you, but only a part of it." I smiled at her and she turned her head towards me.Not many people knew about what Rey had been thinking about for the past few days, but I did. In fact, I think I might be the only one that knows. "I know that you have been thinking about my son in a certain way. And I know why."
She then slowly turned her head back towards me and had a look of shock on her face. "But....how did you-" I cut her off and quickly answered her. "I just know. And you don't need to explain it to me. I understand."A tear rolled down her cheek before we heard footsteps approaching.Finn's p.o.v

I walked over to Rey's usual spot on the hill and saw Leia with her. "Um, is this a bad time?" Leia looked at me and so did Rey. "No, she's all yours."
Leia got up and walked back towards her hut. What were they talking about?Rey stood up and hugged me. I stood there shocked, and hugged her back. "Is everything okay? Did Leia say something?" She let go and looked at me in the eyes. "No, I'm......... just confused." I saw hurt in her eyes. I could tell that she was upset; that something was wrong. "You know that you can tell me anything right?" I looked her in the eyes and tried to comfort her with words, but she just shook her head. "I'm fine Finn. Don't worry about me."
I looked at her for a couple of seconds.....and wondered what I should do. "Ok. But if you ever want to talk, I'm here. We only live 6 yards away from each other." After I said that.....she laughed. I hadn't heard her laugh in so long. I missed it. She looked up at me and smiled. "Thanks Finn."I decided that she probably wanted to be alone, so I left and went back to the others. I hope she'll be alright.

Talking to Finn only made the feelings I was experiencing more painful, more unbearable. I knew that he wanted to help me. He always does. But......I just need to be alone in all of this; to be my own person.I walked down the large grassy hills of the island, my destination already in mind. I needed to somehow, someway, find answers. And I was willing to do whatever it took to get them.
