Scarlet couldn't tear her gaze from a picture of a young girl, maybe 3 or 4. There were burn marks everywhere, a missing hand and leg, and her hair was missing in chunks. She tore her gaze to look somewhere else. She saw a news article in the corner of the screen, she pulled it up. It read- 'Princess Selene, Burned Alive. Luna Mourning Their Future Ruler.'
It then showed a picture of a nursery, ashes everywhere. She looked around a little bit more. Til she was messing with buttons a video came up. "Hello darling." A mystery man said to a girl with brown hair and brown eyes, and a metal hand and leg. Her grandmere was in the background. "Yes, hello. I'm your new father." Scarlet gasped. She new for sure that, that (I hate the English language) was the the man who she thought was going to take her away. Her grandmere spoke, "Yes, now sweetie there are a few things you must know. You are an eleven year old girl who's...." The young girl interrupted her. "Parents were in a hover crash, I was the only survivor at a cost though. And my name is Cinder," She turned to the man who is this girl's father. "And you are my stepfather, Linh Garan." All the adults chuckled. "Yes very good. Now get some more sleep darling." After the girl went back to sleep the mystery man said the most astonishing thing. "My dear Princess Selene. You will take back the throne for our people." The video cut out.
Scarlet knew that that (😑) cyborg in the Commonwealth was the lost princess. And she was literally under her for who knows for how long.
