The Farmer (The second book to The Sisters)

Paris

    Scarlet woke with a jolt. Tears across her face. "Scarlet?" Wolf asked worried. His arm was wrapped loosely around her waist. "Bad dream." She whispered.
   "Are we here?" She asked quickly changing the subject. The train was slowing down.
   "Don't go." Wolf commanded.
  "What?"
  "Don't go. We... we can run away. To the Commonwealth or to Africa. Just don't go looking for your grandmother."
Scarlet pushed back. "I am going to find my grandmere no matter what you say."
   Wolf grabbed one of her curls. "I... you. You aren't going to be safe there."
   "Ok that's fine. I guess. I have put both of us in danger doing this."
   He took in a deep breath. "Let me go for you."
   She shook her head. "No. No, Wolf you are not going alone."
   "Scarlet...."
  She stood up. "There is no argument. I am coming with you."
   He nodded. "Ok."

  Scarlet hadn't been to Paris since she was 13. Nothing much had changed except she had no dad there and there was one thought hiding in the back of her mind. Her grandmother could be dead. She shook her head. Wolf looked down at her.
    "Turn the corner." He put a hand on the small off her back pushing her around a corner.
   She swivels her head to see a man staring at them. "Pack member?" He nodded.
  Scarlet noticed Wolf was on edge in the city. After he made her turn themselves around at least five times they made it to a part of the city that did not survive the 4th world war. "There." Wolf pointed at a destroyed opera house.
   "Are you sure?"
   She took his hand in here. "Yes. Take me to her."
  He had an unsure look and.... guilt?
   "Here we go." Wolf sighed.

Sorry it's such a small chapter. I will be updating at least one more chapter tonight.
   Ok time to be serious. So today I found out that an old family friend died this morning, and I will be so thankful if you could pray for the family. Ok enough seriousness.
