Scarlet had no idea what was going on. She was on the train one second the other. She was in Wolf's arms. Not that she was complaining. Then he was running through the forest with her. "WHAT WAS THAT!" She screamed. "I... I panicked." He said with his head between his shoulders. "We need to leave. The androids are making rounds around the area and one is coming up." He stated looking behind him.
"Fine. Lead the way." She gestured ahead. He was constantly stopping looking behind and then become relaxed for a second.
"What are you looking for?" She finally asked.
"Wolf howls and other objects."
"Wolves?" She raised an eyebrow. Then listened as he turned around again. In the distance she heard faint howls. "So..." sped up to him. "If you were in a fight with a wolf pack. Who would win I you or the wolves?" He thought about for a second. "Depends. How many?" She put her hands behind her back. "How many are in a pack?" She asked herself. "Six?" He laughed. "I could win against six. But anymore that gun in your back pocket may have to save me." She reached for it. "By the way. You may want to get it out." She pulled it out, nodding. "How about... a lion?"
"A cat? Don't insult me."
"Ha. At least you can be safe from low self-esteem." She laughed.
"What?"
"Nothing." She said slowing down a little.
"How about a bear?" She asked. "Do you see a bear around?" He gestured around. "No. But I need to be ready to as he you." He smiled.
"Do that again." She said with narrowed eyes.
"Do what?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Smile." She smiled at him. His mouth went shut.
"There is a lake about 100 yards away." He said quickly. And he was correct. "I will fill these up." Scarlet grabbed two small water bottles. He simply nodded. There was a small sound. They both looked up. There were a few ducks across the way. "Hey Wolf?" Scarlet called.
"Yes?" He came up behind her. "How fast can you catch and kill one of those? Unless you have the sandwiches."
"I didn't have enough to to grab the sandwiches." He pointed out. "Then go get us dinner." She pushed him

She was amazed about how fast he got the bird, but probably not as amazed as he was when she plucked the feathers and started the fire and cooked it slowly. It was about half way done when another sound caught them. From the corner of her eye, Scarlet saw Wolf move closer to her.
Then there was rustling and then a man. Not just any man. Ran.
"Hello, brother." He said with a smirk on his face. "Or should I say Alpha." Scarlet remembered him saying he was lower rank. A gamma (Lets assume he also said it earlier. I just forgot to put it in. Oops sorry.). "Alpha." She said sourly. "Ah!" Ran turned to her. "Scarlet. Right." Wolf sneered. "Don't talk to her. Omega Kesley." He then turned to Scarlet. Relaxing a little. "Is that why you smelt of him? You talked to him."
"Does it matter who I talk to?" She spoke low and angry. "It does when it's him." Ran ripped a piece of meat. "Master Jael wants your return. The mission is canceled." Scarlet screamed.
"HELLO! Am I missing something? You two know each other. And master Jello or whatever. And now a damn mission." Ran faked a gasp. "You didn't tell her? Oh my. Some boyfriend he is." He said over exasperated.
"He is not my boyfriend." She said with narrowed eyes. Her hand gripping her gun. "And tell me what?" She turned to Wolf.
"All she needed to know. I no longer wish with to be with any relations to you. And that no one with the mark can be trusted."
"You have my grandmother. Don't you?" She asked. Ran laughed.
"Not with me."
Bang!
He screamed as Scarlet shot him the shoulder. "What are you even doing here. Jael isn't behind here to protect you."
A sharp laugh came from Ran. "I don't need him. I do need you to come home though."
"No."
Ran sneered. "Bite me."
He must of thought Wolf would only bluff, because one second he is staring up at Wolf the the next his head is under water.
"Stop! Wolf, be May have answers." Wolf hesitated. Then let Ran go. Once free he jumped at Wolf and punched him. Wolf hit him once and Ran was out cold. "What the hell was that!" Scarlet screamed. "He could have had answers!"
He shook his head. "No, no he wouldn't have. He's an omega. The lowest. Be doesn't no anything."
Her breathing slowed. "Fine. Let's say he doesn't know anything. But what does he mean by you being alpha. You told me you were a gamma."
He looked at Ran. "I will tell you everything. But we need to leave now. Before he wakes."
She nodded.

"I wasn't always alpha I had to earn my spot. And it did start as a mission, but I only did it to get away. So I ran away on the mission and came across your town. And the fights." He looked down at Scarlet. He felt as if all of Luna was lifted off his shoulders. Yet, all with Earth was still there.
"What was the mission?" Scarlet asked. He took a deep breath. "To retrieve your grandmother."

_______

"I'm sorry Scarlet. I should have told you." She shook her head. "No. I... when did you leave the pack?" She needed her answers and she wanted to trust him. He looked at the sky. Night was falling.
"Three weeks ago."
"When my grandmother disappeared."
He nodded. She placed a hand on his arm. He pulled back. She looked at her hand. It was covered in blood.
"I shot you?" She asked in horror.
"Merely cut the skin." He stood straighter.
"What!" Scarlet looked around. "Is he coming?"
"No." Wolf smiled. "A cargo train is coming."
"You can tell the difference?" Scarlet asked.
"Does it matter?" Wolf looked down at her.
"No. I guess not."
