This is meh gemsona, I had it changed from Kyanite to Sphalerite because this one fits meh personality and everything I love more. Do not steal this picture. This is also what Sphalerite in the book looks like. And I'm too lazy to explain why her mom had to leave. Enjoy my crap that I'm spending months writing.

Prologue

Sally is a strange person. She doesn't grow, she doesn't age, she can't change her clothes, but the strangest thing is the gem embedded in her chest. She can't pull it off, she can't break it, she can't do anything with it.

Sometimes it will glow, sometimes it projects strange visions or dreams.

Nobody is able to explain this, until one fateful day when she moves to a small city by the ocean...

Chapter 1

"Sally! C'mon, we're waisting daylight!" Her mom yelled.

Sally sat at her desk in front of her laptop, tapping the strange gem in her chest. She sighed.

She questioned her humanity a lot... She even wondered if she was human...

"Ugh..." Sally rolled her eyes at her ridiculousness and closed her laptop. She grabbed her trolley case and walked down the stairs.

"Ready?" Her mom asked.

"Yeah..." Sally sighed.

"Don't worry, you'll like our new home." Her mother said as she smiled widely and patted Sally's back. Sally just sighed once more and walked outside to the car. "Aren't you bringing anything else?"

"No, this is all... We're moving to an apartment, it's not like we need all this stuff. The apartment will come with it..." Sally said throwing her trolley case into the seat in the back.

"I guess..." Her mom said as she got into the front seat of the car. She started it and began driving down the road.

"Bye... Home..." Sally sighed. She felt a faint glow from the strange gem, but she ignored it. She just stared at her home, praying that one day, she could come back to it.

Driving all day and all night, they finally reached their destination. Beach City.

It was a small city by the ocean. There was a boardwalk, small restaurants, tiny shops and houses, and finally, their small apartment.

Her mother's phone began to ring.

"Grab your stuff and go pick a bed. I've got to take this." She said. Sally nodded and walked into the small apartment.

It had 2 king size beds, a nightstand between the beds with a lamp, a 50 inch television on the wall, a small bathroom with a tiny shower, sink and toilet.

"It's horrible... Why did we have to move here? It doesn't even have a kitchen. What, are we gonna start ordering Chinese food every night, now?" Sally complained to herself.

She threw her trolley case on the left bed and got out her laptop. She began texting her friend Kaylee.

Kaylee: Are u there yet?

Sally: Yeah. It's terrible. Everything
is small.

Kaylee: That's sucks. So, have you
made any new friends? Tried new
food? Did you get to swim in the
ocean for the first time?!

Sally: No, but that gives me an
idea. I gtg, text you later.

Sally closed her laptop, remembering a shop called The Big Donut. She planned to go see if this town had anything good.

"Mom, I'm gonna go see if that doughnut shop is open." Sally said to her mom, who was still on the phone outside by the car. Her mom smiled and waved bye.

Sally made her way down to the shop, looking around at the people in the small city.

As she got to the doughnut shop, one person caught her attention. One she thought she would never see. She thought she was the only one in existence.

"Hey! Hey!" Sally waved her left arm around, her right holding the orange gem tightly. The purple girl turned and gasped.

The purple girl watched as Sally ran up to her. They stared at each other, before the purple girl grabbed Sally's wrist and said,

"Who are you?!"
