I didn't have a picture for this chapter. I just binge watched Gravity Falls, too, so if any of this Sphalerite crap seems kinda like that, than this is the reason. Also, a lot of the chapters from here won't be canical. Enjoy this chapter.

Upon returning to Beach City for a short time, the gems ran to the temple to find Lapis sitting with Sally. She stood up when seeing them and left the temple.

Pearl ran up to Sally and hugged the gem. It had been so long since she felt the warm hugs of Sally.

"Pearl... You are crushing me." A raspy voice said. Pearl gasped and released Sally. She sat up.

"You're awake!" Pearl cheered, hugging her once more.

"Are you okay? Did it hurt being fused for that long with Jasper?" Amethyst asked.

"Well, it certainly wasn't comfortable." Sally said. She looked up at Garnet, and her smile instantly faded. "G-Garnet?" She stuttered. Garnet breathed in, and released all of her pent up anger.

"How could you just leave us like?!" She yelled. Sally's eyes widened. She frowned.

"I-I uh... Um..." She was at a loss for words. She didn't know how to put it.

"You left us! It was like you didn't care! Like you wanted to be with the bad guys! Who's side are you even on?!" Garnet yelled. Sally stood up, her hair covering her eyes.

"I don't know who's side I'm on. I don't even know who I am anymore." She said. She looked up at Garnet, a tear sliding down her cheek. Garnet instantly regretted yelling at her. She sighed.

"I know you've been through a lot recently, but that doesn't mean you don't know who you are anymore. You're Sally, our sweet, loving and kind little gem." Garnet said placing a hand on her cheek.

"I just... Wanna get some fresh air..." Sally said walking outside.

She kicked around some rocks, and found an old peice of the hand ship that was buried. She picked it up. It looked like a small projector with a hand scanner on it. She placed her hand over it, and it glowed. The screen projected numbers. Numbers that were scrambled about.

One number said: Log Date 71. She clicked it. It showed a recording that was fuzzy and hard to see. But she could make out a gem silhouette. She couldn't tell who it was. Her hair resembled a helmet. Her voice was loud.

"Log date 71: My new gem warrior is a success. She will do very well in the war. Even Pink's strongest Jasper is weaker than her. I will use her in the Corruption Song if needed. I must go." She said. "Yellow out."

Sally picked another one that said: Log Date 82. She clicked it. It projected a terrifying sight. Blazes of fire shot through everything. Animals, humans, even some gems scrambled to get away from the raging war. Gems fought gems, one side shattering, the other bubbling.

A familiar, tall rebel stood among the Homeworld gems. She fought them off. It was Rose Quartz. She came across the most dangerous gem in existence. Sphalerite.

Sphalerite laughed, and acted quickly. She summoned her staff, the gem at the top glowing brightly. Rose gasped and bubbled herself and her fellow rebels, Garnet and Pearl. It was a corruption light. The rebels around her were corrupted, poofed and shattered by Homeworld gems.

At the end of the recording, it showed Rose, Garnet and Pearl gathered around a poofed Sphalerite. They had decided what was best for Earth, and shattered her. Even if a bubble could contain her, they knew Homeworld would definitely come back or their most prized warrior.

Rose hated Sphalerite, even if she saw beauty in everything. But she saw no beauty in Sphalerite. She only saw darkness and evil. And she hated her.
