The chapters are gonna get pretty unrealistic, even for Steven Universe. I suggest you listen to this song while reading. It kind of fits. Enjoy! Also, there is fusion in this chapter, and I can't really write dance scenes so be happy with what you have.

Only days after Sphalerite had returned, she had an overflowing schedule of missions to do.

She boarded the Master Ruby ship, it only being a little bit bigger than regular Ruby ships.

She put in coordinates for Earth, while her team of Rubies took care of the rest. There was a certain group of gems she needed to take care of. And now knowing how weak they've gotten since the war, she can finish them off and end the rebellion for good.

The ship landed on the grass, deep in a field. Off in the distance was a tall hill with a light house in front of it.

Sphalerite ordered the Rubies to find the Lapis Lazuli and Peridot and take care of them, while she goes after the Crystal Gems. The Rubies followed their orders and boarded their ship to leave. She walked towards the hill, reaching the beach.

Small memories of Sally's came to mind, but she ignored them. She saw the temple off in the distance, a warp pad glow. She ran faster towards it, staff summoned. It had felt so long since she was able to fight the Crystal Gems... With a form, that is.

She crept up the steps, hearing creaks every now and then. She heard the gems talking inside, some happy laughs and whatnot. She looked through the screen door and got a glimpse of Steven.

Steven looked to her and gasped. He stared at her for a moment, looking deep into her eyes. As if he was searching for something. She didn't know what.

Having Sally's memories, Sphalerite knew that Steven didn't know she existed. So why was he looking at her like that?

A reason to how she got here...

It dawned upon her that Steven saw her and didn't know how she had gotten from Homeworld to here. Her cover was blown.

"You're not Sally..." He said. The gems frowned and looked to what he saw. Sphalerite gasped, not quite ready. She jumped high into the air, landing on top of the Light House. She hid there.

She watched as the gems spread out, searching for her. They didn't know Sally was gone. Maybe she could pretend to be her long enough to shatter them.

"Who are you?" A voice asked. Sphalerite gasped lightly and turned. There stood the hybrid child. Sphalerite cleared her throat and stood up from her sitting place.

"I am Sphalerite, the most powerful, strongest gem in existence." She said. "And now it's time to shatter." She pointed the staff at Steven. He gasped, backing away slowly.

"You don't have to do this! Just tell us where Sally is!" Steven said.

"Sally's gone!" She yelled. She shot a blast of energy, sending him falling to the ground. He bubbled himself before impact. The other Crystal Gems joined him. Sphalerite laughed and jumped to the ground.

"What are you doing and where did you come from?!" Garnet yelled.

"You should have realized by now." Sphalerite said. Pearl raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"You really don't know, huh? I guess you're not as smart as the hybrid or Rose Quartz or whatever it is." Sphalerite chuckled raising her staff. She pointed the gem towards the gems. Pearl saw inside the gem was a curled up, sad Sally.
