Steven and Greg were walking around the board walk eating and talking about all the gem stuff that had happened.
Everything started to shake for a minute, and everything was breaking. It seemed so sudden, even if they were expecting some crazy stuff.
"What was that?!" Greg asked. Steven didn't answer he just looked up at the sky. "Steven?"
"Is that... A hand?" Steven looked up at the sky.
In the sky, there was a giant, green hand flying towards Beach City.
Steven and Greg ran down to the temple to see the gems setting up four Light Cannons.
"What are you guys doing?" Steven asked.
"Steven, good, you're here. We're going to need you to activate these." Pearl said handing him a Walkie Talkie. She taped the other against a wood pillar by the Light Cannons. Garnet and Amethyst aimed them.
"Steven, what is that?!" Greg asked.
"We have to assume it's Peridot and whatever other gems she brought with her." Pearl answered.
"Peridot?! You mean that mean, green gem Steven was telling me about?!" Greg asked. Steven nodded.
"We have to evacuate any humans in the town." Garnet said. Steven went ahead and made sure the townspeople left.
"Are you ready, Steven?" Pearl asked. Steven nodded. "Go!"
"If Every Pork chop were perfect, we wouldn't have hotdogs!" Steven said through the Walkie Talkie, activating the Cannons. They burst out energies of light that beautifully and gracefully shot towards the ship. The ship blocked it.
"There was no damages made..." Garnet said. "Steven, you need to leave." Garnet said.
"But--"
"No!" She yelled at him. Greg brought him into the van and started it. He drove away, Steven staring back at the gems.
The gems waved goodbye, crying.
"We did everything we could." Garnet said. "Now pull it together!"
The gems ran down the steps. Garnet ordered Pearl and Amethyst to fuse, and they did perfectly.
"Aim..." Garnet told Opal. She raised her bow and aimed. "Fire!" She shot her arrow, and it went flying, breaking into tiny but destructive arrows. They all hit it, not even scratching the ship.
"At least Steven is safe." Garnet said. Opal turned to her.
"Guys!" Steven yelled. Opal gasped and unfused.
"What are you doing here?!" Amethyst yelled. "Go!"
"It's too late! Just stay behind us!" Garnet ordered. The ship landed on the ground, blowing sand everywhere.
Once the sand settled, a giant marble similar to Peridot's came out of the palm of the hand ship. It rolled to the top of the finger and revealed a group of gems. Peridot, a tall and orange gem, Lapis and... Sally.
"Sally..." Pearl whispered. The orange gem yanked her arm forward.
"Get up here!" She yelled. "This is the Crystal Gems and their base?" Sally nodded. "Is Rose Quartz here?" Sally looked to Steven, then back at the ground.
"No. She's... Not." She said.
"I can't believe this is all there is. You wasted my time again. Just blast them with the ship." The orange gem said.
"But Jasper!" Peridot yelled. 'Jasper' glared at her. Peridot sighed and made a screen with her fingers.
"Don't you do it, Peridot!" Sally yelled trying to break free of Jasper's grip.
"You're not as strong as I thought, Sphalerite! You can't even beat me! You're supposed to be able to destroy planets with the swipe of your weopon, yet all you can do is summon a wall!" Jasper yelled at her, dragging Lapis and Sally away. "What a waste. Thank the Diamonds you're the only one of your kind." Jasper said.
"Steven, get out of here!" Garnet yelled seeing the ship readying to blast them.
"No!" Steven yelled.
"Steven! I won't let you risk your life!" Garnet shouted.
"No! This is my home! You're my family!" Steven yelled, his gem glowing. The gems stared. Peridot fired. "I'm a Crystal Gem, too!" She said summoning his shield and blocking it.
Jasper gasped and turned to face them. Sally was smirking at Jasper.
"I told you it would get interesting fighting them." She said. Jasper shoved her to the ground.
"You knew this was Rose Quartz?! Yet you never told me?!" Jasper yelled.
"I told her not to!" Lapis yelled.
"Why would you do that?!" Jasper yelled.
"It wasn't relevant to the mission!" Lapis said.
"Forget the mission. Yellow Diamond needs to see this." Jasper said.
"You're not taking Steven anywhere!" Garnet yelled rising from the sand. She charged at Jasper. Jasper just chuckled and summoned a helmet. Garnet punched it and got knocked over. Jasper then pulled out a long, yellow looking weopon. It clearly freaked the three gems behind her out.
Jasper charged at Garnet and stabbed her. Her body cracked and she slowly fell onto the ground.
"Garnet!" Sally screamed. She charged at Jasper, but Lapis held her back.
"Don't, Sally! You'll just make things worse!" Lapis said. Jasper walked closer to Steven. Pearl and Amethyst charged at Jasper.
"I fought in the war for this shell of a planet, you know. I respected your tactics, but this, this is sick." Jasper said picking him up. "Just admit it. You've finally lost!" She yelled bashing her head into Steven's, knocking him out. "Peridot, put them into the cells." Jasper ordered. Peridot sighed and shot a beam of green light at Amethyst and Pearl. They were frozen and forced into a cell in the ship.
Sally and Lapis were separated from each other, now possible vulnerable to Jasper.
They really did lose.
