"Why don't you take the boys and y/c/n too?"
Almost immediately you and boys refuse and shake your heads rapidly as Karen looks at all of you, "don't you think you should be there? For Will?"
Mike grabs his glass of milk and begins to drink from it until Eleven, silently comes down the stairs and catches his attention, all your attention. He chokes on his milk as Karen turns around, almost in slow motion in your view. You had to think fast.
"I have a crush on Mike!" You yell. Well, that certainly gave you Karen's full attention as Mike looks over at you wide-eyed.
"Surprise? He he," you could now only smile awkwardly in this situation.
