Being the light-sleeper I am, the creaking sound of my window opening awakens me from my slumber. It could only be one person. The only person who knew how to even get up onto the second floor where my bedroom was, where I stored the key to open the window.

"Come on Finn, whatever crappy situation you're in, can't it wait till morning?"

"Sorry Y/N. I'm gonna have to crash here for a little bit."

A loud thumping noise collides with my floor. I sit up in exhaustion, "what are you on about?"

"Your parents aren't home aye."

"And..."

"Let me crash here Y/N I'm begging. Just for a few nights."

"Why, what happened at home?"

"I've just had enough of it. I just need a break."

I nod slowly, pouting slightly in understanding. I lay back down with my back to him, my face embedded in the pillow. After a few seconds, silence, no movement whatsoever.

"So um ... you gonna get into bed or what?" I ask.

I could kind of tell he was hesitant cause it took him more than just a few seconds for me to feel my bed dip.

"Goodnight Y/N."

I turn over in bed and wrap my arms around him, his head resting calmly on his chest, "night."
