Okay, no joke I've lowkey been really obsessed with the SKAM series. Especially the Spanish ver. and the Austin ver. and the Italian ver.
It's so adorable so most of the following chapters are kinda inspired by it.

B/F/N: Best friend's name

***

I knew coming to this party was the worst idea. But noooo I just had to listen my best friend cause she hit me with the puppy dog eyes she knows I can't refuse.

But now I'm stranded at the house that belongs to the one person I despise the most on this planet. Who, in fact, does not hide his affections for me in anyway despite knowing my best friend having the biggest, most obvious crush on her.

"Y/N?" I turn back and see Finn (aka. the person I hate the most), "what are you still doing here."

"I allowed B/F/N to use my jacket because she didn't bring hers and now she's gone with my jacket that has my house keys and phone in it. Plus no one is home. So .. I'm kind of stranded here."

"I guess you are," he says leaning against the doorframe as I stand awkwardly at the front of his house, rocking on my heels.

"Did you wanna come inside?" He asks, watching me suffer in the cold in amusement. I purse my lips and make my way inside, rubbing my arms for extra body heat.

"Come this way," he says from behind me as I look back and follow him willingly down the hallway.

Why is it conveniently his house that I get stranded at?

He leads me into the kitchen and pulls up a chair for me. I watch him being all gentlemanly but I just clear my throat and take the chair next to the chair he pulled out.

He finds my actions amusing and shrugs it off. I watch him bring out stuff from the cabinets. Two mugs, chocolate powder, milk and fills a kettle with water that heats up over the electric stove.

Hot chocolate.

My favourite.

He puts two scoops of chocolate powder in each mug and turns to me, "sugar?"

I look at him from the corner of my eye and nod distinctively but he got it cause he lets out a short chuckle, "okay then."

He puts a teaspoon in what I presume is my mug and gets ready to pack it away until, "can you put another one teaspoon of sugar please?"

Every word I say to him, he respects it as a rare thing. I minimise the amount of words I exchange with Finn because I don't want to hurt B/F/N but here I am about to spend the night at his place.

He puts another teaspoon in and puts it away as he turns off the stove and pours the hot water in both mugs about halfway and goes to fill it up with milk. He hands me my mug and our hands brush against each other. I put on an expression that it didn't affect but in reality it did.

"Come on, I'll show you to where you're sleeping."

"I'm fine with just the couch."

"Y/N its below freezing tonight. I'm not letting you sleep outside by yourself."

I bite my lip and nod as he walks out of the kitchen and down the hallway, up the stairs where the second living room was and into a bedroom on the right.

He turns on the light and it was a very modern, plain room. Not what I was expecting but okay.

"You can sleep here. I'll be on the couch outside if you need anything."

I swallow the warm sensation of hot cocoa and shake my head, "there's no need for that. You can stay here, I'll take the couch."

"What guy would leave a girl by herself?"

"Then don't."

Shit.

WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!! OH MY GOD SOMEONE KILL ME NOW.

Finn has a very amused look on his face right now. And I just wanna slap it right off. This is so embarrassing.

"Okay, I won't. Did you want a spare change of clothes at all? Pants maybe?"

I look down at my oversized tshirt and yoga pants. Yeah, I didn't try to even look remotely decent because I didn't have anyone to impress.

"Um .. I'll be okay, thank you though."

I finish my hot chocolate and get under the sheets. Putting a pillow barrier in the middle so it separates us.

"That's really unnecessary," he says.

"It's really necessary actually," I correct him.

He begins to strip down but I was somehow unaffected by it. He wanted a reaction out of me but I wasn't gonna give him the satisfaction of one.

I lay on my side so my back is to him. I feel the bed dip just a little to indicate he's in bed. I could sense a pair of eyes on me and I just found it so hard to sleep.

"Goodnight Y/N."

"Goodnight Finn."

With no other exchange of words, he shuts off the light and silence fills the air.
