You and Mike were best friends, completely inseparable since birth. You were happy for him when Eleven walked into his life and fell head over heels for her. You were happy for him, despite the fact that you had this constant feeling in your stomach everytime you saw them together.
You asked Lucas and Gaten about it and they gave you their suggestions and it was then that you noticed.
You ignored Mike completely but of course that didn't go unnoticed. He had actually turned up at your place to ask why. Gasping at the sight of him you shut the door but he sticks his foot out just in time.
"Go away Mike."
"Not until you tell me."
"Tell you what."
"Why you are all of a sudden avoiding me?"
"I'm not..."
"I'm not stupid. What happened to telling each other everything?"
"This thing I can't tell you."
"Come on y/n. It can't be that bad—"
"I think I'm falling in love with you and I'm terrified!" You yell out unintentionally, "and because Eleven is in the picture I can't, okay?" You kick his foot out the doorway and shut the door, locking it.
