"Hey, baby," Finn cooed when he saw you approaching. But every time you saw his face your taken back to hearing those girls from the bathroom.

*Flashback*

You were in a bathroom stall and reached for the lock until:

"Did you hear about that dare Gaten set for Finn?" You recognized that as Millie's voice.

"What dare?" And that would be Sadie's voice.

"That Finn should date y/n for 2 weeks. If he makes it with no feelings attached then Gaten has to do an embarrassing dance at the next school assembly but if Finn ends up liking her then he has to do the dance. Either way, we get to see a hilarious dance."

"Damn, I just feel sorry for y/n. Anyone could see that she's crushing hard on Wolfhard."

They both are silent before cracking up into laughter, "I see what you did there. Nice one, girlie."

They both exit the bathroom as I exit the stall with a crushed heart.

*End of Flashback*

"Y/n?" Without acknowledging his presence you walk around him which earned a round of 'ohhhhh rejected' from his group.

You could hear fast pace footsteps behind you, "hey y/n. What's wrong?" He tries to grab your hand but you retract yourself from his grasp, "hey, you can tell me," he says as you stop in your tracks.

You sigh deeply before looking over your shoulder, "normally I would," you turn around to face him, making direct eye contact with his confused ones, "but that would be before I found out I was just some dare you and Gaten made."

His eyes widened from shock. So it was true. You scoff in disbelief and continue to walk, "hey y/n! Look forward to my dance at the next school assembly!!" He yells after you as you once again stop in your tracks as Millie's words enter your head.

"If Finn ends up liking her then he has to do the dance."

You turn back to find him sending you a smile and shyly walks back to his group with his hands in his pocket. You couldn't help but smile yourself.
