It is a Monday morning and the alarm next to my bed can't even wake me up. I had been up with my son, Noah, all night with his nightmares. I layed in bed listening to the alarm get fainter and fainter as I was falling back into a deep sleep. I thought I had fallen back asleep as my alarm stopped sounding but I was wrong and I figured that out as I was hit by a wall of cold water.

"Go away!" I groaned as I wiped off the water my mum had tipped on me with my hand.

"Come on. Time for school. You seemed as though you needed a little help getting out of bed" Mum yawned as she handed me a towel.

I grabbed the towel. "Thanks."

I sighed and dried myself off. I was woken like this almost every morning. I pulled my legs off the bed and sat on the edge of my bed running my fingers through my wet bed hair. I pulled myself up and had a quick shower to wake up the rest of my body.

"Hurry up! It's ten to eight!" Mum yelled through the bathroom door before banging on it loudly.

I stood under the warm water for a few more seconds before sighing and turning off the shower. I threw on some skinny jeans and a shirt before blow drying my hair and running downstairs. Mum had packed my lunch and put it in my bag. I walked around into the kitchen and found mum and Noah.

"DADDY!" Noah screamed when he saw me. He streched out his arms for a hug.

"Hey big guy!" I said in my baby voice, picking Noah up and cuddeling him.

"You almost ready?" Mum asked me after taking a bite of her toast.

"I think so." I lifted an eyebrow trying to make sure I had everything and moved Noah to my other arm.

Mum sighed. Looks like your rides here." She told me, looking out the window.

I nodded and put Noah into his high chair. I stole a piece of toast off mums plate and ran up stairs to brush my teeth.I Just as I rinsed my mouth out with water my phone rang. I didn't have to check the caller ID.

"Im almost ready. Give me a minute, okay!" I answered.

"Just hurry up!" Chaz told me and hung up.

I put my phone in my pocket and checked myself in the mirror before making my way back down stairs.

"I'm leaving now." I said as I walked into the kicthen.

"Have a good day at school." Mum told me and I gave her a hug.

"Do you have to go?" Noah frowned.

I sighed. This happens every morning. "Yes Noah. I've told you before. Daddy has to go to school." I told him and kissed his forehead.

Noah covered his face with his hands. "I don't want you to go." He cried.

I rolled my eyes. "Look, grandma will be here with you. I have to go now though. Love you." I convinced him and he looked up.

"Love you Daddy." He said with a frown as I picked up my bag and left the house.

I shut the door behind me and leaned my back up against it with a sigh. I was finally out of the house. I closed my eyes for a second and Chaz beeped the car horn.

"What are you waiting for!? Get in!" He yelled and started up the car.

I ran over and got into the passengers side. Chaz started driving up the street and I did up my seat belt.

"Hard morning?" Chaz asked once I was relaxed into the seat.

"You can't even imagine." I replyed and threw my head back.

Chaz chuckled. "Late night I guess?"

"What do you think?! Three year old son that thinks that the boggie man is coming." I spat at him and flicked the hair out my eyes.

Chaz sighed. "Do you regret, you know, Noah?" He asked out of no where.

"WHAT!? NO! of course not! I love him to bits... words can't even describe it." I told him, making sure I was clear.

"Right... I mean, do you regret... making him?" Chaz asked and lifted an eyebrow and glanced over to me.

"Um, yeah." I told him a little embarresed and bit my lip.

Chaz nodded and turned into the school parking lot. "Don't worry man.. I'm here if you need it." He told me and smiled.

We drove around looking for a park as we were running late and most spaces were taken up. We finally found a park on the opposite side of the lot. We pulled up and Chaz got out the car.

I fixed my hair in the mirror before opening the door and slinging my bag over one shoulder. Chaz locked the car and we made our way to homegroup. The bell was about to go so there was no point in socializing.

We made it to class with two minutes to spare and we took our seats at the back of the class. I leaned back into the chair and put my feet up in the desk.

"You finish your essay?" Chaz asked and turned to face me.

"Crap..." I whispered under my breath, "I forgot. I didn't have enough time. I had heaps of Noah stuff on.", I sighed and put my head in my hands.

Chaz frowned. "What excuse you going to use this time?" He asked me curiously.

I had to think about this for a moment. "The same one as last time I guess." I said and looked over at him.

"It's too bad you can't just say you have a son that takes up all your time, aye. Then you would get out of alot of homework. The teachers are pretty leanient with that." He told me and I hit his arm.

"You know I can't. How bad would that make me look! I can't have teachers treat me like that. I won't be able to get a good job and support Noah." I complained and slouched down in my chair. Why did life have to be so messed up?!

Chaz shrugged. "Why don't you just leave school until after english and sign in late?"

"Great idea..." I couldn't finish my sentence as the teacher walked in.

"Good morning grade 12's" the teacher walked in and we all had to take our seats.

I looked over at Chaz and gave him an 'I'm screwed' look and he just laughed.

"CHAZ SUMMERS! Is something funny?" The teacher screamed across the room.

I had to try and stop myself from laughing at Chaz's expression, but I should be used to it by now, we were always getting in trouble.

" N, n, no Mr Tyler. Nothing's funny" Chaz sputted out.

I gave in. I couldn't help but laugh.

"JUSTIN BIEBER! Something must be funny" He turned his attention on me.

I shook my head. "Nothing's funny. I promise" I told him and looked down so he wouldn't see my smile.

The teacher just laughed and started talking to the rest of the class. "Do you think they were laughing?" he asked the class.

Nobody moved a muscle. "That's what I though. Come on Justin. Come up here and explain" He told me.

"But nothing is funny. There's nothing to explain" I argued.

The teacher didn't look impressed. "It's the first lesson and someones already got a detention."

Chaz smirked at me and I swear if the teacher wasn't giving us the death stare right now, i'd hit him.
