The next day in English I was sitting next to Chaz again. He hadn't seen me after my crazy persons act as I had left the school and walked home. I fell a little better now though i'm still not talking, but I read the book about 10 times and I still have no idea how it was supposed to help me.

English was almost over and I had double maths next so I was nervous to see if Jessicah was there. Doesn't matter now though, if there was one thing I learnt from that book it was that I have to listen in  class if I want to be less stressed with school work.

"Justin.. the bell just went. Justin! JUSTIN!", Chaz yelled trying to grab my attention.

I jumped when I finally heard him.

"The bell went dude. You have maths.", he told me and put his bag over his shoulder.

"Oh right. Thanks.", I said and also picked up my bag.

Chaz laughed. "You spoke!?", he yelled and pulled me a shocked face.

I rolled my eyes. "I do talk you know...", I told him and walked out the classroom to my locker.

Chaz opened his locker and put his books away. He has a free period while I'm in double maths so he just roams the streets outside school and sometimes walks to McDonald's with his girlfriend.

Chaz left and I grabbed my maths books out and slowly made my way to maths. I was almost late, I was just taking my seat as the teacher walked in.

"Good Morning Class.", the teacher said and put his books down on the table before looking up at me.

"Justin. Glad to have you back today.", he told me and smiled.

I rolled my eyes and sat down. The teachers smile dropped.

"You didn't have to be so rude Justin.", he said and turned around to write on the whiteboard.

I ignored him and got out my books. I had noticed that Jessicah wasn't in class and I was hoping that she is just going to be late.

Minute by minute passed and there was no sign of her. I was starting to loose any hope that she would turn up but about 10 minutes into the second lesson she walked in.

She looked at me and I smiled. It was odd because she didn't look away as she smiled too. First she went to the teacher to explain why she was late. I couldn't hear much just the words 'sorry' and 'late'. Finally she came to sit next to me.

"Hey. How are you feeling?", i asked her as she got out her books.

She turned to look at me, her face was blank. It had no expression. She was confusing me.

"I need to talk to you... but I don't want to say it out loud in case someone overhears.", she said and ripped a blank page from the back of her book.

I watched her curiously as I was wondering what she was doing, but then I realised. She was going to write notes. She wrote something and handed the note to me.

'Do you remember when you tried to talk me out of.. you know?'

I read it and looked up at her. She was just drawing in her book so I started writing back.

'Of course I do. I'm sorry about that. It was none of my business.', I wrote back and handed her the note.

She shook her head and wrote back. 'Don't apologise. I  don't know if I should thank you or be angry?'

When I read it I creased my eyebrow in confusion before writing back. 'Why? If anything you should be mad at me for butting into your business.'
