The teacher held both Chaz and I by the shoulder and walked us to the principals office. Step by step his grip got tighter but there was nothing we could do about it. Chaz and I didn't even take a glance at each other the whole way.
As we walked down the hallway everyone stopped and stared at us, some laughed. I tried to keep my eyes down, somewhat regretting what I had done. Mum was going to kill me when she found out.
The door of the principals office was closed but the teacher took him hand off my shoulder and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Mrs Sydney's dainty voice yelled from behind the door.
Th teacher pushed the door open and shoved us both inside. He walked in behind us and shut the door. "These two were found fighting outside in the courtyard. I had to separate them."
Mrs Sydney tilted her head. "Interesting. That would explain why you're dripping water all over the new carpet." She looked down at the now wet carpet and sighed.
"It was all him!" Chaz yelled and pointed a finger at me.
I gasped. "ME! I didn't do anything!"
Chaz scoffed. "That's why there's blood running down my face... I punched myself didn't I?" He rolled his eyes and wiped the blood from his lip.
"That's quite enough boys." She turned to the teacher." You can leave now. Thankyou for taking these boys to me."
The teacher nodded, gave us both a hard glare and left the room. Once the door shut Mrs Sydney started talking again. "So what exactly happened?"
Chaz and I both burst out our side of the story at once making nothing but useless noise. She held up her hand. "Stop. Just stop. Chaz, you can start. One word from you Justin and i'll suspend you."
Chaz smirked and cleared his throat. "Well, Justin was angry at me and basically leaped at me from the opposite side of the table! He tackled me to the floor and I tried to talk to him but he punched me. I punched back in self defence!" He yelled and crossed his arms over his chest.
I rolled my eyes and sighed knowing that was true as the principal looked over at me. "Now you Justin. Same to talking rule for you Chaz." She nodded towards me.
"Everything he said was true except for the last bit. He did punch back in self defence at first but when I did finally stop and get up he jumped on me and pulled me back down to the floor. So he kept it going!" I argued and looked over at Chaz who looked eager to say something.
Mrs Sydney smiled. " Now neither of you say something, okay? Good. You have two choices. One, I suspend you both for three days or Two, You get a weeks detention. Chaz you pick first."
Chaz frowned. "Neither..." He shook his head.
Mrs Sydney sighed. "Pick or I pick for you."
Chaz rolled his eyes. "Suspension?" He shrugged.
She wrote something down on her computer and turned to me. "Justin your turn. Weeks detention or three days suspension?"
I bit my lip. "Detention?"
She nodded and typed something else. "Okay now it's settled. I'll send a letter home to your mum tonight Chaz and Justin, i'll staple a detention slip to your diary every afternoon which you must get signed."
We both nodded and went to walk out the door but were stopped by Mrs Sydney again. "One last thing. What was it that you were fighting over boys?" She leaned forward onto her extremely organised desk.
I was about to say something but Chaz got to it before me. If he mentioned Noah I would kill him even though I was sure that everyone knew about him by now.
